Just saw that Fifa 15 will be coming for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC on September 23. Looks like Fifa is skipping Nintendo platform AGAIN. Oh dear, my brother is going to be super disappointed.
EA is still butthurt about Nintendo and their origin deal especially since none of the games has been announced for a nintendo system as of yet. Not suprised.

They are quite happy to let Ubisoft add uplay spam to games so I don't even know if it is that.

I wonder what kind of lame excuse they will be giving this time. Because the old "Not enough install base" BS is not going to work since the game is coming for Xbone (which has the lowest install base among the 3)...

Not a higher enough sales/attach rate on Wii U is my guise.

Edit: Which is true to a degree.
Not quite. Fifa 13 was awful because it got features stripped off (brother was pretty mad about that and he claims that 13 is basically 12 with a new layer of paint.) and they skipped 14. So that claim has no base at all.
Xbone is over 5 million after 6 months. Not only that, but EA games are selling high on it. Wii U was under 3.5 million at the same stage of it's life, and EA's titles were all flopping hard. It's really not hard to see why they're skipping the Wii U when it's a pretty safe bet every one of their games has lost money on Wii U.

Ya, but those games sold poorly for a reason. Even if NFS: Most Wanted was the definitive version of that game, it was still an older game. That was a game EA probably should have had at launch, FIFA and Madden were gimped, etc. It's not difficult to see why 3rd party games are failing on Wii U.
There isn't very many, and the ones that are there are gimped or late ports. People want new games. EA needs to get Sims 4 or Spore out, Activision will probably release CoD again, Ubisoft is still getting Watch Dogs out for Wii U, etc. Wii U is in a differnt situation than Xbox and PS, so we need to treat it as such.
If 3rd parties were putting gimped and late ports on Xbox One and PS4, would people really still buy them?

The only EA game I want on Wii U is the new Star Wars Battlefront.
Considering that it's developed by the current iteration of DICE, would such a game ever be able to pass a lotcheck?
That was EA's fault, actually. DICE wanted/needed more time, but EA rushed it for launch. We all know how that turned out... Nintendo would have never allowed that to show up on the eShop.
