Metroid is rubbish it is a run and gun made rubbish by loads of messing around in the name of exploration. (It would be perfect if it was intense from start to finish).

If the exact same worthwhile content was in the same format as something like Alien Soldier then I would love it. (As it is I really like some parts of it but it takes far too long to get to them).

Metroid by a long shot. Granted, I haven't played one in ages, but it still represents and influences everything I like about gaming, so I think it's safe to say it's my favorite.
Mmm... Seriously, i just dont, it has to be Lefend of Zelda
But seriously, Mario Party its DAMN close, even if i havent played one in ages, some of my most beloved gaming moments are with Mario Party in it (and maybe some alcohol lol)
To be fair, i like a lot of them pretty much the same, im just using Nostalgia/Memories to say this, as i cant OBJECTIVELY if i like Zelda, Metroid or Fire Emblem more, i just cant
