Also haven't played much of the series, so is there any particular reason all the main characters in these games are women, is it like a japanese priestess who's in tune with ghosts kinda thing or they just use women cuz they want to?
Not just these games, but most Japanese horror movies, games, manga, etc have a female lead. It's a cultural thing.

Nintendo will localize this, but it's really not a priority now for them. They'll announce it in the future... circa next E3, and not in a major way probably.
You so sure they'll localize it? They didn't do the Wii game which had very similar comments as this thread years ago including how could they be dumb enough not to release it. I really hope I'm wrong this time, but my trust in reggie and iwata is shot. I'd love to play that game as the idea and now the trailer looks great.

I think it was just a victim of the same bs that caused Xenoblade to almost not come out over here. I think there's been enough proof that Nintendo has learned from that.

They did localize it, but only for EU. Which, speaking of, always baffles me. Just release the damn EU version in NA at least, like what happened with Xenoblade.

XB in the US had a far more limited release then EU/JPN, the game wasn't even planned for US release as to why the game is voice acted by Briitians.

Yup, and it stayed in the UK, thanks to the two clowns who could have changed that. Sticking with the Wii, you also have that Disaster game too we got screwed out of, and back a generation the crime of not releasing Doshin the Giant which is amazingly fun. NOA has a track record for some stupid behavior even when a game has been localized already taking the cost out of that. We only got Xenoblade due to financing and scheming of Gamestop which included being exclusive carriers of that circle pad pro.
