If the game is released in the EU, I'll probably end up getting it at some point, even though I've barely touched most of the survival horror games I've got on Wii and Wii U (incl. Project Zero 2).

Really hoping this gets localized. This will probably be a great showcase for the potential of two-screen gaming,

Tecmo seems to be going all out with the franchise. There's a movie, a comic, and a novel in the works as well.

I wonder how Tecmo/Nintendo plans to approach this.

WAT!

I'm a big fan of the Fatal Frame series and one of my biggest disappointments of last gen was that FF4 never made it to NA; so I'm wary of getting too excited over a new installment until localization is confirmed.

I'm planning to play through the first 3 games again soon (I have the PS2 versions on PSN) and Spirit Camera too. That's bound to make me want more, so I really hope that NOA doesn't disappoint me again.

It'll never leave Japan, because Tecmo Koei and whatever half-arsed non-reasons there are.

Shame NoA never felt motivated to release the Fatal Frame 2 remake. I imported, but would've jumped at the chance to own a local copy.

Makes me skeptical that we'll get this game released in North America either.
:(

It'll get localized. They have so little coming to the system that absolutely anything would be helpful.

If they're willing to localize stuff like Tomodachi Life on the booming 3DS, then they'll put out Fatal Frame on the Wii U.

But wasn't Tomadachi Life selling really well in Japan? I thought that's why they decided to localize it. Then again Spirit Camera was localized, but as far as I know it sold horrible so we may not be lucky this time...

I would pick this up immediately. The Gamepad is a perfect fit for use as the camera. You won't see many things on the screen then raise the gamepad and see the ghosts.

I've always been interested in playing the series. Well, time to take a little trip to my local game store to see if they have any of the games, because I want to know why is it good.

It's a great horror-game. It's unique and the atmosphere is almost unmatched imo.
I really, really hope they localize this.

If you have a PS3, all 3 PS2 games are on PSN for $9.99 each.

What, like full moons, silver bullets, and eyebrows that join in the middle?

I made the mistake of going on the Japanese website for the game..... it was creepy and so weird.

I own a Wii U and 3DS. I do plan on getting a PS4 someday :D

Looks very good an I love how they differentiate the M-rated games with a darker box design. In fact, I wouldn't mind if this was the default Wii U colours. They did it also with some Wii games on black boxes.

Still no word on ocalisation, though.

That has to be the prettiest looking cover art I've ever seen for a video game.

Looks gorgeous.

After the Xenoblade sequel this is my most wanted Wii U release. Still don't expect that it will come out in North America though. We didn't get either Wii game, and the 3DS game was a horrible spin-off that sold poorly so I'm not at all confident we'll get Black Haired Shrine Maiden.

Agreed that case/color scheme looks so much better.
