Topic: F Zero- Idea Thread.

I had started an F-Zero idea thread on the 3ds forum mainly thinking on what we could want out of a 3ds version, like cross platform interaction or multiplayer. the Wii U does have very good potential to reboot F-Zero, being HD and having all of the glorious abilities you should all know. Are we gonna see one F-Zero game or a bunch released on both systems like the Gamecube-GBA era? We just have to throw ideas around in our clutched hands Falcon Punching each others faces until we finally get announcement of the new F-Zero development.

I don't really see the point of a new F-Zero game. What can you do in the F-Zero series that hasn't already been done? Adding online, I guess. But otherwise, it would just be the same old, same old. It would be like Super Mario Strikers Charged. Which I didn't get, because the addition of online wasn't enough to woo me.

We can give the racers transforming cars! When they go near water the cars gain propellers and when they go off a jump they turn into planes! And we can call it (brace yourself): F-zero 6!

Wont ever happen but a more serious take on Fzero. With a franchise mode where you go through various circuits/seasons/tournaments with your team getting sponsers to better your parts. You'd start off street racing and make your way up.

Think forza or grand turimso just in the future.

I think.... if F-Zero were to come back... it should come back as something new. They've already taken Captain Falcon out of his vehicle for Smash Bros. and he is a bounty hunter, right? I don't know where I'm going with this, but F-Zero can't just come back and be the same game again. That would be pointless.

i would prefer a return to the feel and art direction of F-Zero X as opposed to the GX edition. F-Zero X, but in HD, perhaps even cel shaded. and with fully fleshed out online modes, real leagues and music like the guitar arrange album. perhaps introduce some new items or boosts that can be equipped and used on the Upad. the new controller would make an awesome virtual hi-tech cockpit display.

i have some similar thoughts about my ideal 3ds version...would be more of a straight f-zero X port in 3d with much more limited online modes. and it would compromise detailed visuals for an insane framerate like the N64 version too. that would rock on the 3d screen.

If there is a new F-Zero, online is definitely a must. But I don't know if Nintendo could pull off a lag-free online F-Zero game.

From the sounds of it, the F-Zero game in Nintendo Land will make some sort of interesting use of the gamepad. So perhaps that could give us an idea of what a fully featured F-Zero game could be like on Wii U. I can't imagine what to do with it. As fast paced as the game is, I can't see them making the player have to look down at the gamepad very often.

f zero just needs to happen again, not as hard as GX but extremely detailed. Huge tracks are a must.
