I think it might be the minute differences between the consoles. Knowing Nintendo, this thing won't be able to play imports, so maybe there's just a shortage of supplies where they're being manufactured? I don't really know.

My sources up to this date have told me that it's planned to be a worldwide release.

I don't think that is the only reason. A lot of people buy consoles early, or products in general, because of hype. Having the system out in another region a month ahead may kill that hype for a lot of people, meaning that they will have the time to re-think their purchase.

They are having problems with making the gamepad, not supplies. I'd rather have a healthy working gamepad and wait just a few weeks(its supposed to be early december anyhows.)

We don't know that. History can't be changed to see what would happen if the circumstances were different.
I respect your logic but persolaly my hype is not detered or shrunken by other countries getting the system first it just makes me want it more personally.
