Hi, my media room doesn't have the best Wi-Fi connection so i was wondering if i could buy any USB Ethernet adapter and it would work on the Wii U or does the adapter need some special driver for the Wii U and as such i need to get ones that are made specifically for the Wii U.

Yeah, just purchase the Wii's USB-to-Ethernet adapter and it will work fine on the WiiU. I use one myself. I don't know if ANY USB-to-Ethernet adapter will work, I'm guessing no - but the one meant for the Wii definitely works. GameStop has it used for around $13, new for $20. You can probably find it on Amazon.com, Wal-mart, etc. Hope this helps!

I got mine off ebay for a few dollars, it was cheaper than getting it at the game stores. I'm fairly certain it has to be he ones designed for the Wii/U as the other ones I tried didn't work with the Wii U
