I don't have a Wii U yet, but I'm a Nintendo fan. I'm part of the audience that can at least help make the Wii U as popular as the Gamecube / N64.
Not going to lie, a lack of quality titles is the reason I haven't picked it up yet. That, and I'm catching up with HD gaming thanks to a cheaply bought PS3 half a year ago; I'm now picking up fantastic titles I've missed out on for $10 a piece.
I have the money for the Wii U, however, but Nintendo is releasing games that are all too similar to the Wii era:
New Super Mario Bros U? I haven't 100%ed NSMBWii yet.
Super Mario 3D World? Yeah it's a lot of fun (played it at a friend's house), but I've overdosed on Mario a bit
Pikmin 3? Still have to play Pikmin 1 and 2, got them on Wii
Tropical Freeze? This is the worst one, DKCR just came out late 2010 with a ton of content, I still need to get the KONG letters in most levels. And it looks really, really similar to DKCR. I gotto be honest, I was counting on Retro to make that deep single player game that would convince me to get a Wii U.
<insert indie game>? I've got a lot of indie games to play...
What's left is a couple of quirky games (Wonderful 101) and a couple of upcoming heavy-hitters (Mario Kart, SSB) that look great but are just repeats of franchises we get every generation. I guess I'm waiting for Nintendo to do something new°. Some revolutionary gameplay. Some new franchises. Overall the Wii U just looks kinda stale, maybe not counting NintendoLand. I'm picking up all these titles, by the way, but I'm simply not excited enough to pick them up right now.
°that quality of life thing doesn't sound like it could be the direction I want Nintendo to head
There will be enough for me by then end of this year and I've already managed to get a whole generation's worth of game time down on my U but certain big releases have been missed and will be missed. It's not enough for me to want an X1 or PS4, I like shooters and 3rd person games and I fear Wii U is only going to have indie games and Nintendo games pretty soon so it's Nintendo/PC for me this gen.
I am a bit worried that decent sales of Wii Party U and poor sales of everything else will mean we get less effort and more cash grabs for the rest of the generation.
I only posted this to get my avatar as the forum's thumbnail.
I can't comment on quality which is subjective anyway so I'll go by what I know: the Wii U does have enough games that interest me
This is where I'm at. I do buy a title every month or so (not counting VC and eShop stuff), but I'm buying games with an eye for family play and I only put in a few hours a week on the Wii U so I'm not burning through games.
There's a number of Wii games I sold on that I'd like to visit again, so re-purchasing is also in the cards. I do hope Xenoblade Chronicles gets a revisit a la Monster Hunter 3, because I'd hate to shell out the asking price for a used Wii game!

Same here, I may upgrade my PC to be able to pair the Wii U style games with Steam games.
I love the Wii U. Switch is getting better.
Where are the Dreamcast, Saturn, GC emulations?
All time favourite consoles are Master System, Atari 2600 & 3DO.
No, there's not enough. There are people still dissatisfied with the amount of quality games on the PS2. I'm convinced that "enough" is simply not possible.
People complained about the amount of quality games for the Wii at this point in its life. Ranting about how it was collecting dust seconds after Super Mario Galaxy and Metriod Prime 3 dropped. Here we are with the Wii U and 3D World, Pikmin, Wind Waker and the same is being said.
I agree with @CanisWolfred, enough is never enough. Someone will always want to complain.

Enough is at least a few titles across all genres. (With the Virtual Console the Wii didn't have the same problem even only choosing the 60hz ones in the PAL region).
