EA Sports Senior Software Engineer and Architect Bob Summerwill launched into a rather interesting little diatribe against Nintendo and the Wii U today on his Twitter account, going so far as to call the console “crap”.
Taking bets I say in the next 24 hours he will claim his twitter account was hacked or something. But if not then he is allowed a opinion. He is most likely going to get some stick for the next few days but he shouldn't. If that is his opinion on the Wii U then people should accept it.
What an idiot. It's already been proven Wii U is stronger than any last gen console.
The worst part is that this will be taken as fact by people as stupid as him.

Yes, he is allowed to have an opinion. But if he is going to voice his opinion, he should be prepared to face any backlash. Honestly, I'd expect these kind of remarks from someone inexperienced in the professional world, not someone who says "Games industry veteran with shipped AAA titles across three generations of console hardware" on his LinkedIn page.
