Yo nintendo fans enjoy your port of the last game in a triology while we release the collector's edtion with all three games on 360 and PS3.

You'd think something like this would also be on Wii U.

Def going to be double dipping on this. Mass Effect is probably my favorite series this Generation and I'd pay to have a nice edtion with all of the games. Will probably give my other copies too my cousin to have.

Hmm I'd consider getting it if it came with all of the DLC included, but that doesn't appear to be the case. Oh well, I'll keep my eye out for a 'complete' edition at some point!

Good point. Though I own allof the dlc for each game so that's more of a nonstarter for me.

Mass Effect is from Bioware, but the first (and second? idk) ME was missing on PS3.

The publishing rights were owned by microsoft but they probably sold it too ea.

The first one was prublished by Microsoft, who made it Xbox360 an Windows exclusive. Then, Bioware was bought by EA and made the sequel.

Mass Effect 1 had publishing rights to Microsoft, but 2 was published by EA so it is on 360, PC and PS3. EA must have bought the publishing rights for the first game from Microsoft (most likely for a ridiculous amount of money)

Anyway, I don't really mind this being announced. This was probably conceived by EA after the Wii U version of Mass Effect 3 being announced. Plus, this version doesn't have the DLC for the third game, unlike the Wii U version.

This collection is mostly for people who haven't played any of the Mass Effect games yet, and for the absolute hardcore Mass Effect fans. The Wii U version of ME3 is going to be better than the version on this collection, so i totally don't mind. Plus, I expect something like this for the Wii U sometime over the next one or two years anyway.

But really... MASS EFFECT 1 FOR PS3!!! FREAKING AWESOME!!!

Sorry, but no. Some of the great features of Mass Effect is that the choices and adctions on the previous games can be transfered to the next game. So, Wii U version wont have 1 and 2 actions imported (well, an interactive comic, but that's not the same). Mass Effect on Wii U doesnt have very much to offer as it will surely have the same things in Xbox/PC/PS3. Sotty, i dont cont the use of the Gamepad for some actions of yoru companions and a map as a new thing.

I have only downloaded Mass Effect 2 via PSN, so I might get this collection. Looks my patience has finally paid off. Or I might just download Mass Effect 1 and 3 off of PSN later on. Either way, now I can play through the trilogy in order on one console!

But yeah, Nintendo only gamers are effed. The Wii U version is even more worthless now.

Life isn't fair. I don't play ME so thankfully this doesn't effect me.

and they are going to release the first one on psn so people who has the other 2 can get the first one without buying the trilogy package

I was considering getting ME3 sometime on the Wii U, like a while after it gets cheap, now, not really thinking about.

Yeah in light of this new information--I'll just rent it.

Well this is just my thought on this:They aren't releasing the collection on the Wii U because then you'd have this situation

BOB:Wow in hindsight i guess they should have released all the games seperately if they were going to release this collection. otherwise it just screws over the people who bought the third game on the Wii U
