They have already started with Xenoblade Chronicles

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Mother 3, hands down. I can't stand seeing those Earthbound series HD graphics on Smash U (or that fan-made HD Onett) and know those assets will never be used for an actual game in the series.

Failing that, Donkey Kong Country Trilogy - the SNES games with Tropical Freeze graphics.

Mario 64 3D in Super Mario Galaxy graphical style.

This is being completely unrealistic btw. I know that won't happen but hey, this thread is about dream remakes

If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.

Final Fantasy IX HD. Seriously, even a PC release would be fine. A few tweaks to some side quests and some upressed visuals is basically all that game needs to be perfect...

Commander Keen: The Universe is Toast

Heck, I'd be over the moon if they would just release that awful GBC Commander Keen game on the eShop. =P

Metroid Prime style Wii U game, perhaps with hunter characters instead of Samus. And a Metroid 3DS game, a 2.5D side scroller like the originals.

If they had the original pre-render data still, they'd have redone those PS1 games in HD a long time ago. They don't! It's kinda meaningless to do HD without them. They'd have to remake the entire gameworld. In which case, they might as well just make a full 3D game. Which they'd probably mess up.

It's dangerous to go alone! Stay at home.

The more I think about it, the more I want to see remakes of Metroid Prime 1 and 2. There's a lot they could add to the games to improve them, almost to the level of what Zero Mission did for the original Metroid.

Prime 1 could do with some of the powerups that were added in 2 and 3, such as the Seeker Missiles, Screw Attack, Grapple Lasso, and Grapple Voltage. They could use this to flesh out some of the areas that could possibly use more missions or content, such as Magmoor Caverns and Phazon Mines. Not sure where exactly to put those powerups, but I'm thinking they could add a boss battle against a giant Magmoor in Magmoor Caverns. Besides that, they could probably add a shortcut in Tallon Overworld that allows you to get to Phazon Mines easier (as it's really annoying having to trek through the Frigate Orpheon or the section of Chozo Ruins where you get the Ice Beam to get there) and more of Frigate Orpheon to explore after it crashes, like maybe a hidden path leading to Biotech Research Area 2 (the room where Meta Ridley shows up when you're escaping and you need to use the Grapple Beam to progress).

For Prime 2, they could also add in the Grapple Lasso and Grapple Voltage and a bit more content on Dark Aether. For one, they should add a dark world version of the Splinter Hive that is accessible from Accursed Lake, and instead of getting the Sky Temple Key in Accursed Lake, you would have to go to the dark world version of where you fight the Dark Missile Trooper (Hive Chamber A). Also, I think they should retcon the Power Bomb Guardian battle because having to go to Dark Torvus and fight a boss battle that amounts to a Spider Ball puzzle is kinda lame, and Ing Hive could really use its own mission (besides fighting Quadraxis). They should keep that mission, but downgrade it to a puzzle and the Power Bomb Guardian itself to a Dark Sporb (and maybe put several of them in that room), and instead of the Power Bombs, you get the Grapple Voltage. Then, you go to Ing Hive and use the Grapple Voltage to get to the Hive Gyro Chamber (instead of needing the Echo Visor to get in). You would fight the new Power Bomb Guardian in Hive Gyro Chamber, which would be a darkling Rezbit (the weird sphere things in Sanctuary Fortress that give Samus a virus). As for the Grapple Lasso?

You get it after beating Dark Ridley in Central Mining Station in Agon Wastes after getting the Light Beam.

Either Banjo Threeie (in spirit of the first two) or a remake of the first two with the original stop 'n' swap vision in place rather than the crummy hacked in version Microsoft put into the XB versions.
