Hey, I draw on my Wii U from time to time and I use the DSi XL stylus (the larger one) that came with the system. It was just lying around so I use it. But I was wondering, aside from buying more from the Nintendo Store, is there a specific stylus people like to use to draw on the Gamepad? I see some styli that have a nubby tip and I don't see how that would let me see what I'm drawing clearly. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I basically am curious what people use and would like some suggestions about other styli that have the form factor of a pen. (Nothing overkill, I have a Wacom drawing pad for my comp. I just want to have a couple of spares.)

I've had my Wii U for months and didn't even realize there was a stylus until today.

I've only ever "seriously" drawn my Miiverse posts on the Wii U. I've always used either the Wii U's stylus, a spare DS stylus, or my 3DS stylus.

Those work well enough for me, but I suppose any stylus would do if you needed something with more bulk. I've got a Turcom pen tablet and the stylus for that fits better in my hands, though again, I'd only ever used the DS, 3DS, and Wii U styluses.

I own a PS1, GBA, GBA SP, Wii (GCN), 360, 3DS, PC (Laptop), Wii U, and PS4.
I used to own a GBC, PS2, and DS Lite

I heard someone at Nintendo recommended this stylus a couple of years back, when Art Academy: Sketchpad was mentioned. (And now, Art Academy: Atelier is arriving for NoE in 4 weeks.)

Yes. That stylus is the best for drawings. It comes with a screen protector which everybody should use on the GamePad. The stylus is big and long enough to hold it like a real pen. Therefore you can draw like on paper. Of course there is a nubby tip like always but that is just a matter of habituation.
