Okay um, we aren't talking about the iPad.

I was saying, I'm looking forward to a nice, Nintendo-made drawing application on the Wii U GamePad.
Something that's not some add crazy cheap iPad app...

But its not with a stylus. That makes the biggest difference to me. I don't care to draw with my finger on a screen, its lame. Plus, I'm really interested to see what Nintendo does with this.

Colors! 3D? Art Academy?

Yeah but, I'd much rather do that on the Wii U's bigger screen. With a bigger stylus that makes it feel more natural.

I remember hearing something about the Wii U's tablet screen not being multi-touch our something. I dunno what that means exactly, and I don't care enough to look it up, but it seems some people think that'd make it harder to draw on. Just some food for thought.

And yeah, the screen doesn't give you a lot of drawing space from what I've seen. I may draw small, but I think even I'd need a bit more than that.

I don't see how that affects drawing though. Its only one stylus. One thing pressing down on it.

Yeah. Well hopefully its good for that. Regardless of the multi-touch thingy.

After drawing on the DSi XL screen for a long time, the Wii U Gamepad will be better for me. Honestly though, if I had to do some serious graphics work as a hobby, I'd just rather get a tablet (Wacom) and a neat program like Photoshop. As for animation, I want to practice on both a device and on paper. But that won't stop me from hoping that Nintendo release Flipnote immediately.

Oh nice, a $14US stylus that doesn't come with or slot into the system and is never going to be on hand when you need it. That totally proves your point...... apparently. Just like how the non-tactileness of touch screen keyboards doesn't matter because you can just whip out your full sized bluetooth keyboard if you want.

Yeah that's BS. It's not multitouch but if you're using a stylus it really doesn't matter. The problem will come with the lower resolution of the input or if it's a lower quality input but I doubt either will matter much. It will probably be better than what the professional graphic designers were using not that long ago so I'm sure it'll be fine for five seconds of fun.

Yes, please! I would love a version of Colors! or something of the sort on the Wii U. And, like others suggested, some sort of Flipnote application.
I absolutely love traditional drawing, I just need to get used to digital.
