Topic: Doom and gloom

Ok, so now that Christmas numbers are rolling in:

SEGA's Sonic didn't attract any Wii U customers
Wii Fit U failed to meet expectancies
Super Mario 3D World underperformed saleswise
New Super Mario Bros. U doesn't has the typical exploding sales
PS4 gained much more praise and marketing instead Wii U's marketing is very low
Pikmin 3 failed to attract more customers then the ones that already owned a Wii U
Wonderful 101, I myself bought it, but failed in selling more units, not the Nintendo way of selling games

The only that did manage to move units was the HD version of Wind Waker and a price drop, thanks to that
BUT still overall .. I think we can officially start the doom
I'll never regret buying a Wii U, cause for me it is THE best console I've ever bought but Nintendo messed up with the marketing ..

Nintendo isn't just the WiiU... as long as the 3DS is doing fine they can keep going so I wouldn't call it "Doom" and gloom yet, just gloom but no doom

You know, it was to be expected with TW101 - it's only proving that people complaining and wanting new franchises from N, because they only rely on Mario and Zelda, are tards, because they are not buying it.

The only fail of Wii U, other than name of course, is that they forgot to market it and instead expected people and developers to jump right in, instead of talking with them and advertising. After a full year they finally understood it, but did PS4 get more praise? No. What it got was hype, and it helped shifting some units, but it still didn't reach the WiiU numbers. That's the power of hype, now sales will start slowly dropping because there is nothing to play on it - until Watch Dogs I guess.

Now PS4 and X1 have the same problem that WiiU had - no games. And yet all those tards who complained and laughed about one year old ports for Wii U now cream themselves with one year old ports for PS4, like Tomb Raider.

Doom for the Wii U? Maybe. There's still plenty of time to tell. Doom for Nintendo? Certainly not.

With that said, we can go back to playing games
