He does have a point people shouldn't be against Nintendo....So it appears that the President of Gamestop has stated that people should not be so hard on Nintendo & he makes another good point I also said this myself tons of times — Nintendo needs to explain the Wii U gamepad features the right way.
The biggest thing for me i never took Gamespot seriously, with there terrible reviews of nintendo games. But this article was actually really interesting too read sort of.
@mystman12 You talking too me? Cause i know but if you mean me,then all i'm saying i never cared for any gamespot articles about news for the wiiu and i'm saying it was a good article in it's own way.
Maybe i confused gamestop with gamespot? Meh i don't even know anymore so i'm just going to close my eyes and begin anew. And if my mistake about this article messed with your guys mind, i'm sorry for doing a simple mistake i guess who knows. And edit Gamestop actually cared about the wiiu becoming a hit? Weird.
@midnafanboy No, I'm talking to @kereke12. He messed up the thread title by mixing "Spot" with "Stop". (Which is completely understandable, I used to think GameSpot and GameStop were both run by the same company or something like that.)

It is a GameSpot article about a GameStop executive.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Of course Tony Bartel wants Nintendo to succeed....Microsoft want to kill the likes of Gamestop off (as would Sony if this were actually feasible right now).
Nintendo has massive untapped potential with the Wii U owing to the sheer quality of their IP and their development studios, and they aren't going all-in digital anytime soon...So, a total no-brainer.
If GameStop means the handheld market, then he's or she's correct you'd be a fool to do so...
However since he or she made that comment towards Wii U, I'm going to have to disagree. They don't really have a strong market in the console realm, unless we're talking fads (such as Wii). So in this regard you could count out Nintendo in the console market. Since 1996/7: N64, GameCube, Wii and Wii U have come and only one was a breakaway success.
