Does the Wii U have a working online game store? I heard it wasnt open yet. If it is whats the selections like? I cant seem to find an official webpage for the stores offerings.

Yeah it does, and it's really open and it's nice. Easy to navigate.

Yep you have to update to get the eshop.

But nintendo is still in 2007 online wise so don't expect an online store until next year when nintendo network hits 2010 in term of features.

I really wanted to have Nintendoland on the system to save messing about putting the disc in every time I wanted to show it off or have a quick blast with the kids . Looks like it's going to be full whack at £50 though so I'm reluctant now. Reckon I might pick one up cheap off someone who had it bundled.
