Does anybody actually know if the wii classic controller (that looks like a snes controller) will work at all on the U?
It has exactly the same button layout as the gamepad and pro controller so I would expect it to work but nobody seems to know or be talking about it. I don't want to get munsoned on day one and need to find a classic pro. I also hope that the CoDBO2 port has as good wiimote controls as CoD4 on wii did. The only trouble is that pointer controls are so much more responsive that online multiplayer would be pretty unbalanced.
PS You're an absolute muppet if you think the new controllers wont support the VC.

I'm pretty sure it's been confirmed that they will work.
The Pro controllers are optional, and as of right now there are no games that support more than one gamepad - so they'd have to be supported.

Nunchuck and WiiMotionPlus work with Wii U, and it's backwards compatible. I'm pretty sure they'll work with Wii U.
