I sure hope so. The Wii U won't really be the ultimate Nintendo system unless I can still play my VC games on it. Maybe once they get the online shop on Wii U going we'll start getting more games again. I'll try not to get my hopes up though.

It would make no sense if you cannot transfer VC games to WiiU. It will happen at some point just like what happened with DSiWare. Personally I'd prefer an option to transfer my VC games to the 3DS.
^ It might make perfect sense to Nintendo, who might like you to buy it all over again? I REALLY hope that doesn't happen though and that they work out a way of arranging a transfer. Maybe by entering your Wii console number and passcode into the Wii U?
"Hey kids, remember all that WiiWare and VC content you downloaded on your old Wii's? Well you can't transfer it over to the Wii U, and it won't be on the Wii U Shop. Instead, we're giving you a whole new set of downloadable games just for the Wii U! If you want to play your old WiiWare and VC games, play them on your old Wii."
What if they decide to use your Club Nintendo account to transfer your games? Like, upgrading it to a full on account and all that. I mean, you can already use it for Nintendo to track what you get. I don't see it being that hard for them to upgrade the system and then let you transfer your games.

I see no reason not to make them available, as the WiiU is confirmed to be backwards compatible. That means the console probably has a kind of "Wii-mode" similar to the 3DS' "DS-mode", which allows it to run Wii software "natively". DSiWare is available on the 3DS, why wouldn't WiiWare or VC games be available on the WiiU?
What I would like however, is the ability to play VC games on the WiiU's controller-screen. Unfortunately, that's what I can't see happening. At least not right away, as the software used for emulation seems to be Wii software, which would make it impossible to support WiiU-specific features.
but what i really want is add online to many VC games like mario kart 64 and smash bros 64 or smash bros melee...i want to challenege people online in these oldskool games..

It's ok to want things I guess.
Think a moment about it: To add online to any old offline game, you'd have to dig out the old code and develop a completely new online system based on it. Match-making, rankings, netcode, it's like developing online for a completely new game. That means it's wasted effort on titles, that don't sell for much money or to many customers in the first place, and better invested in new games sold at full price.
I sort of assumed this would be a given. I'm not sure how they'll do it, but I'm assuming you'll pass your current Wii Shop Channel data over to the Wii U so your download history is available. Then you can just re-download the titles you already purchased. That, or you can transfer via an SD card or something.
I think they should endeavour to have the VC titles available on the Wii U controller screen. That's the big gimmick of the console, so I think that at the very least all of the virtual games should be playable on it. I can see not all of the big titles having that functionality (especially third-party ports), but my hope is that the Big N will be all over this for their own stuff.

Seeing as how hard wii to wii transfer is I imagine this is going to be a pain. Right now if I were to buy a new 360 I could redownload all my xbla content and all my saves from the cloud.

Sadly I'm having my doubts that many of the VC games will not be availible, but if its a 1st party Nintendo games( such Smash Bros. Zelda etc.) will be availible.
It would be nice if the Wii U would fix up some the emulation quality too. Like crisper looking TG-16 games and brighter NES titles. Also getting rid of the weird rainbow effect on Neo Geo and Genesis games would be nice as well.
