Topic: Do you think that it's possible that the SUDA 51 team would make a port of Lollipop Chainsaw on the Wii U?

It has happened before with "No More Heroes Paradise", so... do you think it's possible?
I understand why it didn't make it to the Wii, but now Nintendo is HD, *******!! :P

Fingers crossed. The more people that play that game, the better.

Suda51 likes Nintendo and he can use all the sales he can get so it really could happen. Not sure why anyone would care much though. Suda51 games tend to range from weak (Flower Sun and Rain, Killer 7) to predictable (Desperate Struggle, Lollipop Chainsaw). I'm more interested in his new game, Killer is Dead. I'm hoping it turns out to be something special, but since the game is being created with the help of Lollipop Chainsaw fans, it's probably just going to be more of the same.

How is Lollipop Chainsaw predictable.

And yes I realise I'm feeding the troll here, but who knows, perhaps we'll finally get a halfway intelligent response this time.

I hope they do. It's a great game and everyone should play. I can just get it for the 360 but more people should definitely be able to have access to this game.

pfft, semi-ironic grindhouse games with cheerleaders vs. zombies summoned by a Goth and his Rock band zombie bosses is such an overdone thing in gaming today. It's the new military FPS, clearly.

Crap, you're totally right. I can't believe I didn't see that before. You just described half the Wii U's launch library. :O

And now that I think about it, NMH2 being a sequel and focusing mainly on improving gameplay is like the OPPOSITE of "typical Suda51".

It will never happen, because afterwards the press (yes, NintendoLife included) will moan how the Wii U has too many old ports and no original games.

They did so with the 3DS, and would most certainly do the same with with the Wii U.

Meh, Lollipop Chainsaw is one of his weakest games IMO.

I'd much rather see something new or No More Heroes 3 for the WiiU.

you're confusing "too many ports" with "3DS has no worthwhile original content until 6 months later and no true killer app until exactly a year later with Kid Icarus: Uprising". Wii U actually has new games which people care about that won't take more than 6 months to be released. ZombiU, the probably best NSMB game, Nintendo Land, indie games, Wonderful 101, Pikmin 3, open world Lego game and several legit mega huge 360/PS3 games >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Shadow Wars, Pilotwings Resort, a mediocre Super Monkey Ball game, free Excitebike and a pokedex and N64 remakes. It might be even or something resembling even if I include the 20 free 3DS games I got but there's a reason that happened. And that wouldn't include the GBA games anyway since those were given after 6 months so Wii U still wins in that regard.

That doesn't necessarily mean they won't complain about it, but there's a difference.

Edit: I even forgot about Rayman Legends and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. Launch window!

I wouldn't include the N64 ports on the 3DS on that list. When those started to appear it actually seemed like things were turning around. To this day OoT3D remains probably one of the four or five must have 3DS titles. Before that it was a barren wasteland and I wouldn't say any of those games are ones I'd recommend people get now.... outside of a bargain bin...

With the Wii U we have a pretty good list of games already. Not as good as the 3DS was at the end of 2010 but pretty damn good. Better than what was on the 3DS pre-OoT3D by a large amount.

I think(?) you missed my point. I just compared the notable games of both systems for the first 6 months. Wii U clearly wins.

And honestly while I prefer Star Fox 64 to anything else listed and you need to buy it, it's a 30-40 dollar remake with changes that according to everyone, doesn't suddenly make the game too much better to be worth it for most people if you can get it for 10 bucks on VC. Especially it misses the point on why people love Star Fox 64's voice acting. Same with OOT and stuff like AC3 and Arkham City are better than OOT, imo at least. Beyond that, most of those games are still the same price on other consoles. So even if I want to pretend the only games worth full price for 6+ months being remakes is acceptable, it still would lose to Wii U.

Of course I shouldn't be too mad at 3DS' early failures since I never would have restarted and played 50+ hours on TWEWY otherwise. 3DS also gets bonus points for Link's Awakening being on VC, which is honestly the best 2D Zelda.

Not even. Most of 3DS' original content was absolutely disappointing. Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7, Kid Icarus Uprising, Resident Evil Those ****ing *******, and Rehash Mario Sisters 2. Nothing is awe inspiring with little to no originality and effort put in. The only exception is the game with terrible controls, horrible 3D features, lame missions with even worse character development and overall storyline.

I seriously hope New Leaf is exponentially great. The 3DS needs a must have title.

Oh, and I'll give you a hint on the exception mentioned above. It's the most overrated game on the 3DS thanks to NL's unbiased community...

Yeah I know most of the content for 3DS and VITA can be punched into the corner of the casual side and up-ended into some sort of a garbage type furnace device.

I was agreeing that the 3DS had a much, much worse start than the Wii U has had but that I wouldn't personally include N64 ports in the list of "not very interesting" content. Would I be happier if the Wii U at this point had the list of games the 3DS did at the end of its first year (one very well done remake of a Zelda game, a remake of another Nintendo classic, New Mario Kart, New 3D Mario and a couple of third party ports)... yes. In a second.

Plus even though I haven't played New SMB U yet I'm pretty damn sure 3D Land is a better game.
