Twilight Princess needs to be remade. That game is wonderful, I love it, but it really hasn't aged that well. Not as well as games like Wind Waker that is. If they completely re-worked the visuals and had it in HD resolutions of course, the fans would be all over it.

Twilight Princess is without a doubt one of my top favorite Zelda games HANDS DOWN! It was my first game for my Wii; & I think I played it so many times throughout the past 6 years... must've been exactly 16 times I think, because I kept count since then! But then Skyward Sword came along & it also became my top favorite Zelda game hands down!
But I seriously think a Twilight Princess HD remake needs to be done; & especially since it was origonally a GameCube game! It could wind up on the Wii U's Gamecube VC library... I HIGHLY think it's a POSSIBILITY!! But it wouldn't hurt to tweak it to make it look as gorgeous as the Wii U Zelda demo from E3 2011; like in these pics:

Have there even been any 6th generation games that were completely remade for an HD console?
There have been many games with some improved textures and resolutions, but nothing any where near an actual remake. I doubt nintendo would go through the trouble to make remake Twilight Princess with graphics like that when they could make an entirely new game.
I would say that HD Wii remakes / ports will probably not come out right away. Perhaps they'll start off with gamecube HD remakes or possibly even snes or n64. It would be awesome to have HD remakes of SNES games with high resolution sprites. Imagine Super Metroid redone that way. That would be awesome. Or Super Mario World. Finally have a new art style for the side scrolling Mario games. But that would also take a lot more work than Wii games. Most of them would just have to be upscaled, but also probably update quite a few textures, too.
I'm pretty sure the VC Gamecube games are going to have (near) HD resolutions.
HD remakes are going to happen, but I don't think Nintendo itself will make them for a number of years.
Many Nintendo made games have visuals that withstand the passage of time but SD resolution really hurts them. HD upscaling would have been a dream come true, but unfortunately Nintendo couldn't (wouldn't?) achieve it.
Would you buy a bundle game with Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, Super Mario 64, and Super Mario 3D Land for $100-$150?? But remember it is going to be in the incredible HD of the Wii U, more powerful than PS3 and XBOX 360.
A remake of Super Mario All-Stars, with new HD sprites and Super Mario All-Stars 2 with Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2. SMAS2 would also have updated visuals (High resolution, updated textures, updated models, etc.).
No they wont. Wii games are still playable on Wii U so there's no real market potential.
Didn't stop them from re-releasing GC games on the Wii.
But, they apparently couldn't publish exclusively developed Wii games in all regions...Disaster: Day of Crisis and Pandora's Tower for the US. Hopefully they at the very least bring those two to the Wii U's eShop in North America.
