Personally I would love to see it happen. Huge fan of the series one of the best 2D fighting games I have ever played. So what do you think? Does it have a shot? Would you buy it for Wii U than the other console versions?

How does releasing on the PC nowadays make it any more hopeful that it'll come to the Wii U? It's not like Street Fighter IV and Guilty Gear didn't do the same thing before...

I meant that SNK rarely release games on PC.
True, but PC development isn't as risky nor as expensive as Wii U development. We'll see if anything else comes of it, but I just don't think this really spells any more hope for a Wii U version.

I doubt it.. Their support for Nintendo platforms has been scarce and even though they did put out some games on the Wii it were ONLY different collections with their old games (King of Fighters Collection, Metal Slug Anthology, Samurai Shodown Anthology and SNK Arcade Classics)... Maybe if the Wii U picks up in sales, but you know.. Wii sold great and still only got those collections.
I'd definitely welcome some fighters to the Wii U, but this doesn't seem particularly likely. More of a SoulCal guy myself though (until V took a big dump on the franchise, anyway).

I think it's possible, but not very likely due to current platorm install base and such. When is the game supposed to release? Depending on that, they may wait to see how the system sells during the holiday season.

Won't work properly or it will be a stripped down port. The only good port of XIII is the recent Steam version. (Or the original Tatio Type X2 or whatever it uses).
Problem with fighting games is modern TV's are no good for them. Without being able to disable the gamepad hardly anybody could run it right.

All the Arcade versions run on PC's (And Windows). No sensible reason for them to have ever not done it. (At least after Atomiswave).
