I also don't want to miss the next Fallout, Elder Scrolls
The thought of Fallout (from bethesda) and the Elder Scrolls without mods is horrifying.
STAHP IT BURNS
On a less silly thought: The only console I'll be getting this gen is the Wii U, which I already have. Just as the last gen I only bought the Wii. I got a PS3 as a gift though, but I've mostly used it as a media server. And as a Tekken/Mortal Kombat machine.
PC and Nintendo is the best combo for me. My PC can handle all the multiplats, and a nintendo console for all the exclusives and different control schemes. The PS4 and the XBone seems like nothing more than a graphics update, and I couldn't care less about graphics when talking consoles.
The only games I really want from the other consoles are Ratchet & Clank, Tekken/MK if that doesn't come out for the current Nintendo console, and the only thing I've ever wanted thus far from the Xboxes have been Tales of Vesperia.
I expect to buy a PS4 sometime in 2015 as by then there'll be some good games (Uncharted, The Order, InFamous) and it might have dropped in price a bit too.
Until then the Wii U, PS3 and 3DS will provide me with plenty to play.
Depends on how things pan out and what happens with other companies. Right now there's nothing compelling about the PS4/XBOne for me personally so no. PC + Wii U for me. However if the SteamBox becomes a thing or if at next E3 either Sony or MS come up with some generation defining exclusive then who knows.
Right now the best content in my eyes on both systems for this launch window I can live without or can enjoy equally on PC/Wii U. Assassin's Creed, Battlefield, CoD, Thief, Diablo 3.... hell, half of those games are free in AMD's Never Settle bundles.

I will probably just have a Wii U and gaming PC. I got burned out on inFAMOUS, Uncharted, Gears of War, Halo and such during the current gen so unless there are some killer new franchises that come out that's not on PC I doubt I get a PS4 or XO. Destiny would entice me some but since it's on PS3 I'll just play it there, if I play it.
I'm probably going to get a PS4 mainly due to Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy XV, along with the fact there'll be other titles at some point in the consoles life that i'll want to get. Xbox one wise it all depends on the next few years of what exclusives they get, so far I don't see anything that piques my interest.

I'll probably end up getting an Xbox One. Currently the only games I find interesting on non-Nintendo systems are Killer Instint and Dead Rising 3.
Final Fantasy 15, Kingom Hearts III(kinda), and Sony's exclusives aren't really my cup of tea. So so far, Xbox One has the only 2 games I would consider getting another system for. I guess Destiny or Titanfall will be better than CoD or Battlefield, but they're still not worth buying a console over, IMO.
Then there's also the fact that sports games are literally of no interest to me unless it's Wii Sports Club. I'd rather play an online tennis, golf, or boxing match online in Wii Sports Club than buy a FIFA or Madden game.
It was only easy for me to pick up CoD Ghosts on Wii U, because I alteady have a Wii U. I don't think having a few extra lights or textures will make me want am FPS game on any system anymore than I'm already willing to consider.

Nope. Got a nice routine going with my PC, 3DS, Wii U, Wii and DS, and some of those are somewhat neglected due to so little time, one more console will just kill my routine (Edit: and my hip pocket).
@Sony_70
I'm not into those, honestly. I think the ideas are cool, but I can never get into that stuff. Maybe I would buy them if I had an Xbox One pre-order fully paid off right now, but that's not exactly the case.

Currently, no. I have a Wii U and a 3DS. Eventually (hopefully soon), I will be picking up a PS Vita since I tend to favor handhelds over consoles. Wii U games, 3DS games, and the occasional PS3 and PS Vita game (Yes, I buy the games I really want even though I don't own PS Vita yet...) isn't making my wallet happy. If I had the money and time to spare, I would get a second console for this generation probably (if they have games that interest me later on). For now, I'm very content with my Wii U, 3DS, PS3, and PSP. With my backlog, I'm sure to have enough games to play for a long time. Haha.
Just Wii U for me although I'm thinking about getting PS2. No need for PS3/PS4. I've been Nintendo man all my life but I really want to experience Kingdom Hearts 1&2, old Final Fantasy games, Sly series etc. You can get PS2 almost for free nowadays and I don't need fancy HD remakes. I know I'll enjoy those games since I've played PS2 games many times at my cousin's house. I just never thought about buying it until now.
It's its, not it's.
