It leaves a white light on even when the system is off. It's giving too much attention to itself.

Uhhh... I always take the disc out when I'm not using my Wii U.

I own a Wii U and 3DS. I also own a PS4!

I'm not aware of anything that happens if you leave the disc inside the system, so yes. I leave the discs in my system..

God first.

I usually leave them in so I can play it at a moments notice.

I have left Disney infinity 2.0 in there for months now

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Leave it in. I noticed it right away and liked it. How many times I have tried to put a game in my X1 to find I had something in already. I like that there is a light on the system for this purpose. Thoughtful.

I always leave the disc in. I've always done that with every system I've owned. Only time I remove the disc is if I'm moving the system around.

On my 3DS I always have a game in there even if I go for months at a time without playing that game. Because I don't want dust to get in there. WIth my Wii U if I'm not currently playing through a game on a disk and I'm mostly playing Smash/Kart? The disk comes out. Not because I'm "worried about the disk" or "hate" that light but purely because I have a space on a DVD rack for that game

I always try to remember to take the disc out, both just to try and keep things neat and so that I don't risk wearing out the disk drive.

I usually leave them in, but I take the plug out; no lights for me.

We usually play many different games among the members in the family, but we usually keep the disc in anyway. Quick Start is great to just continue to play a game. However, we usually pull the power chord if we know we aren't playing for multiple hours.

I don't like keeping the disc in. I sometimes forget to take it out, but normally put it back in the box. Besides, I move my WiiU around a lot, and I don't want anything to happen during the transport.

Always take it out, that said a few games I've played for huge amounts of time have been bought digitally as well as keeping the physical copy with the concern of the disc breaking (e.g. Mario Kart 8 after 500 hours of gameplay).
