Topic: Do you expect tales games to come to wii u, ports, hd remakes or new ones?

I'm getting into tales games since i'm playing tales of abyss on 3ds. The problem with other ones they are on xbox or ps3 or ps vita. I own 3ds, wii, wii u only and ds lite. I'd love more tales games on nintendo platforms. The gc ones are hella expensive.

I think I mentioned this before, but the Tales series guys love to put stuff where there's very little competition, especially after Tales of Symphonia did such a great job. Tales games are system sellers in Japan, so I'd imagine Nintendo would want them working on something for the Wii U. It wouldn't be unrealistic to expect an announcement in a year or two. However, I'd expect it to be a port. Perhaps Tales of Xillia 1 + 2? I wouldn't expect to see that make it's way over here, though. Optimistically, I'd prefer it to be something completely new.

tales of symphonia is 130 bucks on amazon, i'm not dishin out 130 for a game.

Symphonia was easily my favourite Tales installment that I have played so far. I strongly believe that we will see a new Tales title on the Wii U, but I seriously hope that it is better than the last U.S released Tales game on a home Nintendo console.

I certainly hope they release some Tales games for the Wii U- the ones I've played were great games. Even though I'd prefer it if they released them for the 3DS. And I didn't know Tales of Symphonia was that rare....

I agree; Nintendo may well throw money at Namco Bandai to make Tales games happen. Especially since it seems very unlikely that Nintendo will share beers in hostess bars with From Software or Square Enix and become best friends, and everyone else making JRPGs in Japan prefers to work with Sony.

Tales is, aside from Nintendo's own development teams, the best chance Nintendo has for an exclusive JRPG that people care about.

I really want Tales of Symphonia released on the Wii U VC more than anything, that alone will be a system seller for me.
