Just curious, do you guys think that some time in the future we will see a Wii U game that supports 2 gamepads? If so, what kind of game?

I find this slightly ironic, seeing as there are many people who think the Wii U should not have the Gamepad at all... I imagine they'd be horrified if the Wii U gained a second Gamepad, lol.

Its only been a year so yes I think two gamepad support will come. I can't see myself using it though.

I don't think this idea will ever work. It was an awesome idea, but it will die, like how the vitality sensor idea did.

Yeah, only time will tell. The problem with 2 gamepads were that Nintendo said that using 2 of them would cause a 30 fps game. I still would like to see one though, It would be interesting

They've already said there will be.

Did you think the vitality sensor was good?

Vitality sensor would work best with horror games.

Making promise is easy. The hard part is keeping it.

I know a few ways they could have used the vitality sensor, actually. There's obviously the fitness software, but I was thinking along the lines that it could change something as minor as the music tempo, imagination/hallucinations of the character in a game, AI could be effected, etc.

Everyone basically thought it could only be used for fitness since Nintendo showed it being used that way, but there really could be a few ways they could use it. It doesn't necessarily have to be a horror game. It really depends on the player, as well. I probably wouldn't be scared from a horror game as much as I used to be.

After playing a few horror games, I tend to be able to cope with extreme situations in most, if not all video games. Again, it really depends.

There's a difference between confirming that it's technically possible and actually going ahead with it. Personally I really don't care either way. I don't think at any point playing a game on the Wii U I have thought "wow, this would be soo much better with a second GamePad"....

I think we will see something in the local multiplayer area eventually - it would be nice if Nintendo produces some game that allows you to bring your GamePad to your friend's house and play together using two pads. Something along the lines of the WarioWare/NintendoLand serie. Not a proper game but more of a downloadable thingy like Wii Sports Club, with 24hours tickets et al.

(though, because of the small fanbase, that would require Nintendo to make a way for you to find WiiU owners from your city on Miiverse - which is totally risky and incredibly unwise considering there's a lot of weirdos out there).

Top-10 games I played in 2017: The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild (WiiU) - Rogue Legacy (PS3) - Fallout 3 (PS3) - Red Dead Redemption (PS3) - Guns of Boom (MP) - Sky Force Reloaded (MP) - ...

They said there would be.

And do you know what? I have a feeling the likes of Mario Party 10 might be it. After all, it's already a series in which asymmetric gameplay is old hat (thanks to 1 vs 3 mini games), so what's the next obvious step? This.

2 vs 2, each team mate hold half of the gamepad, they have to work together to aim their plan and shoot down the other team

I'm wondering if we could get add on control sticks/buttons you could glue onto a 47inch widescreen tv instead?

Although the rumble function could break your arms.

Isn't it obvious that Falco Lombardi is actually a parrot?

of course, because there's nothing cooler than damaging your own vision for having to glue the face on the TV and ending with glasses for the rest of the life...
