@MAB It's either conspiracy crack or game-delay ganja. I find they help me juggle real life and Nintendo life.

When Ubisoft aren't running things into the ground or giving the middle finger to PC users, they've become my go-to AAA 3rd party because their games are consistently fun and interesting. Even with AC being milked to death, it's only this year's release that's uninteresting to me.

But I am worried because the shocking decent use of variety was mostly gone from their conference this year. ALSO WHERE IS BEYOND GOOD AND EVIL 2 ARGH

The Meixcan Ubisoft facebook pages has listed Watch Dogs for the Wii U as November release.

I tentatively have reserved the Wii u version of Watch Dogs. However, if it comes to light that the Wii U version will be "crippled" in some way, or is not getting as much support (i.e. DLC releases) as the other versions, then I will cancel it and not buy any version at all.

I haven't actually pre-ordered it but that is basically what I am doing, as long as they treat us Wii U owners right I will support them

I was sorta hoping they canceled it just so we wouldn't have to watch it come out crippled for $60 and then hear ubisoft complain about sales a month afterwards

November 21st for U owners, book it to buy or avoid.

21st for EU and 20th for NA.

Or wait for reviews and hope it don't suck like the PS3 one.

Any Wii U owners beside me who actually wanna play this game?

I wasn't wowed by it on PC. They are going to have to put a discounted price or bulid a season pass into the game for me to pay full price. If the gamepad gets good usage I'll bite. I normally just like the gamepad to be maps and inventory...personally I love that WW is so much better for me because of this, but I sorta want ubisoft to work for my money.

Ubisoft's decision to release the game on Nov. 18 is just plain stupid. Nobody is going to buy it, because they could have already gotten it on other systems. And from what I've heard, the only Wii U exclusive features are a map and off-TV play. Well, I can see that the 6 month delay was clearly put to good use (sarcasm). Also, it's going to have to deal with games like Pokemon and Super Smash Bros. Wii U(assuming it comes out in November and not December), which adds to the list of reasons it's not going to sell. YOU HAVE FAILED, UBISOFT!

I really doubt that's true. It will probably have all kinds of quick access buttons, inventory, bios, recordings, animations etc. The thing is people always say "oh it's just a map", I bet people think the same thing about Zombi U or Arkham City:AE or Mass Effect 3:SE. Unlike most people I guess, I dig every Game Pad usage. People saying "it's just a map" are the same people who said "it's just waggle" - they don't want any change with the controller, they want same boring stuff.

Totally agree, plus I hate having to pause for a map. So if the map is on there too it is just even more awesome lol

I've was waiting for the Wii U version., but now that the main console versions are so cheap, it depends on how good the port is.

I don't know about Zombi U and Mass Effect 3 but Arkham City's Gamepad usage is very impressive. I got it for 360 as I didn't own a Wii U at the time but gameplay trailers showed it's much more than "just a map", I don't own the 360 version anymore but seeing as the Wii U version of Arkham Origins is the only one that doesn't suffer from save file corruption I may rebuy Arkham City for Wii U. The other huge thing about Arkham City is that it has the DLC rather than going for the typical skip DLC for Nintendo consoles.

They're probably putting it out in Nov b/c Wii U won't be getting either of the AC5 games which release Nov 11.

And can anybody tell me why Ubi's AC headline is "Make History on Any Console" yet the Wii U logo is on the bottom of the page, but neither game is coming out on Wii U? I may boycott ALL Ubi games b/c of that double whammy slap in the face.

I guess the Wii U logo is on the bottom of the age b/c previous installments of the game have been on the Wii U, but man that "on any console" line on top is really annoying. If you dont want to put it on Wii U then don't, but don't insult the Wii U like it isn't a console. That's just wrong.

When I saw the Wii U logo... a part of me laughed and a part of me got angry.

Great Wiiu owners who waited to play this port and all they get that's different.Is TV off play and a map on the gamepad with no DLC woah day one purchase! But i do really want to know if they actually put the online mode that the other versions have.If they didn't well who ever buys this crap don't whine cause you bought it at full price for a half done port yay.
