Topic: Digital Wii games save files?

Does anyone know about the Wii games available on the Wii U eshop; do they use the save files from the vWii?

So if, for instance I had played Super Mario Galaxy from disc on my virtual Wii, if I then bought game from the Wii U eshop would it continue the same save data file? Is it rather somehow tied to save data in Wii U data management?

I also am kind of wondering, if some one had bricked their virtual Wii due to some failed softmod or something would these Wii games from the Wii U eshop get broken as well? From what I have heard launching the game basically puts the console in vWii mode so I was curious.
