I have been trying to stream some MP4 movie files from my PC to my Wii U but when I put my IP address in the bar of the internet browser I get an error code that says, Error Code: 112-1007 Could not display page. Did Nintendo change that so you can no longer stream from your PC?

Not a problem with the Wii U. I tried with mine just then and was able to stream 1080p Apple trailers fine. Streaming 1080p trailers is what I use as somewhat of an acid test for video streaming. If it can do that fine it'll handle pretty much anything assuming the format is supported.
Assuming your Wii U is connected to your network properly I'm pretty much 100% sure the problem is with your PC not the Wii U.

Well its connected via wireless to the modem if thats what you mean. I can stream Netflix and use the browser on it just not stream MP4s. I dont know why but when it comes to computers I am not to technical with them.
