I'm not really excited for a port (even with minor upgrades) to a game that I've completed a dozen times or so since it was original released.

But yay for the people that secretly wish they had other games consoles but felt like they had to stick by Nintendo as though Nintendo cares

Bankai, I love you man, but your tact = 0.

Here is a new petition to get Metal Gear Solid Rising: Revengence on the Wii U!!!

@Bankai
I realize you are, once again, trying to pass your comments off as a joke. Unfortunately, once again, your "jokes" only apply to a small, vocal segment of forum going gamers. I have a 360. I've had one since launch. I waited outside of Target in freezing temperatures to get one. And I've never played HItman. And guess what? There are tons of people out there like me, people with lives, and people who don't visit forums every day, who just haven't had the chance to pick up the game on another console. Way more people than your pessimistic worldview will ever allow you to acknowledge.

But, I digress. You were just joking, after all. As always.

More excited for this than say Batman ? Dont know what they was thinking there ?
How about Square stop with the Tech demos and release stuff gamers want ? Start with Hitman followed by a sequel to TWEWY and how about porting Sleeping Dogs

So Nintendo, how is that third party support for the Wii U coming along?

they are releasing stuff that gamers want on the western side and non final fantasy Japanese side. Their output has been pretty good regardless of the huge mismanagent imo of the main final fantasy brand.

Well cant answer for Nintendo but can give you my opinion Besides the fact the last 2 months has been bone dry far as retail releases go can honestly say other than Tomb Raider the WiiU owners have not missed nothing. Crysis 3 is blah, Dead Space is blah.

Spiderman came out yesterday and just picked it up. Never played it before but it looks fun imo but the last half of this month will be great with 1st,2nd and 3rd party releases

@Sony_70
Far as square is concerned it would make since for them to look at the releases so far on WiiU and could have easily seen that Hitman,Tomb Raider or Sleeping Dogs would be meet with greater fan fair than Dues EX. Regardless will probably pick it up because I never played the others since the Xbox.

How can you be the one to say that Wii U owners are missing nothing. Both Crysis 3 and dead space 3 have both gotten good reviews and word of mouth.

It would make sense for Square but this is the same company that seems to be porting a tw year old game to Wii U instead of any of its recent releases (hitman, sleeping dogs, tomb raider) and its two upcoming games aren't slated for the Wii U. ( murdered soul suspects and Thief)

Um. Ni No Kuni says hello.

Crysis 3 deservedly got great press and great community response. And then you've missed DMC, Atelier Ayesha and Metal Gear Rising Revengeance. And Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires, which even IGN felt was worth a good score and IGN hates the franchise.

Dead Space 3 was meh, I'll give you that one. But other people like it.

So to recap. Decent-to-great games the PS3 has got so far this year that the Wii U has not:

Dead Space 3
Crysis 3
Ni No Kuni
Atelier Ayesha,
Metal Gear Rising Revengeance
DMC
Tomb Raider
Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires

That is nearly one game each week. And I am certain I've missed some. Wii U owners are missing a great deal.

It's all cool baby... I won't have time for anything else when Monster Hunter is in my hot big hands

One would argue that a port of an enhanced port of a last Gen game doesn't really help the case of third party support.

Why isn't getting Wii U getting Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen, Remember Me, Lost Plant 3.

But monster Hunter look fun for those into so can't complain

"Why isn't Wii U getting Watch Dogs?" Everyone three weeks ago, game that was probably announced early for Wii U to calm down now possibly relevant Nintendo fanbase. Also you're counting Lost Planet 3 as a release of value so I can't take you remotely seriously.

The difference was that Watchdogs was hinted to come to the Wii U and unlike the games I mention aren't.

Also ignoring the dubious quality of Lost Planet 3 doesn't discount it as release.

Ni No Kuni: PS3 Exclusive
Atelier Ayesha: PS3 Exclusive
Metal Gear Rising Revengeance: Good no doubt
DMC: Devil May Cry has never been released on a Nintendo console. played the demo and it is good
Tomb Raider: This one hurts. Nintendo should have begged and pleaded for this as it is GOTY so far in my mind
Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires: Meh
Dead Space 3: Its EA so no shocker there and it is not that good.
Crysis 3: Have this game and it is a average shooter with pretty graphics. Again EA

Sony had no involvement in the game, and there's a DS version in Japan. It didn't need to be exclusive

Atelier Ayesha: PS3 Exclusive

As above

Metal Gear Rising Revengeance: Good no doubt

Very good.

DMC: Devil May Cry has never been released on a Nintendo console. played the demo and it is good

Again, no reason that DMC couldn't be on the Wii U.

Tomb Raider: This one hurts. Nintendo should have begged and pleaded for this as it is GOTY so far in my mind

Yup

Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires: Meh

Warriors games have their fans. Orochi 3 and Ken's Rage 2 are already on Wii U

Dead Space 3: Its EA so no shocker there and it is not that good.

Your opinion. Not fact. Some people love it.

Crysis 3: Have this game and it is a average shooter with pretty graphics. Again EA

Crysis is Crytek. Crytek is not owned by EA. EA is just the publisher of the Crysis series.

The point here is that Wii U gamers are missing out on the majority of good-to-great games released this year. Nintendo's struggling to get the third parties on board in any meaningful way.

SCRAPPER392

I'm not really disappointed by these games not making it to Wii U though. It just seems like alot of the same old same old to me.

Well aware of who Crytek is but a game being published by EA not being on a Nintendo console is no shocker to me. Dont worry pretty sure the usual cash grabs Madden,Fifa,NBA never mind will make it though

Ni No Kuni: Where is the 360 version? Same for Atelier Ayesha
Dead Space 3 is hardly a miss when the other games including the Wii version are better imo
Kens Rage is a craptastic game. Ports like that WiiU does not need

WiiU owners have missed out on some games but lets not make it worst than what it is. Is no different than saying PS/360 owners will be missing out on Lego City,Monster Hunter,Bayonetta 2, Xenoblade 2 etc.
