This is an incredible game, that has rave reviews, and uses the Game Pad beautifully.
It's not selling well as is, so there is no need for threads to further disparage this beautiful game.

This is both a worthy upgrade and worthy introduction if you’ve never played a game in the series before. The game may be augmented, but they’re augments made for the betterment of mankind.

This Director's Cut fixes a few big issues of the original Deus Ex Human Revolution. Thanks to the redesigned boss battles and to the great use of the Wii U's GamePad, this is the best version of the title to date. If you didn't play the game two years ago, this is the moment to try one of the most interesting cyberpunk experiences of this generation.

With improvements to the game's flow and excellent second-screen support, the Director's Cut of Human Revolution is the definitive version of an excellent game.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut is a highly recommended title, especially to those who have never played the original: it is certainly the best and most complete version of the Eidos title.

I'm all for a re-release of a great game when it makes sense. The Director's Cut of DXHR fits the bill nicely; it's not too soon, it's not too late, and it takes what was already a fundamentally solid and great experience and makes it better. Wii U owners should keep this one on their short list.

Designed specifically for the Wii U, this is the definitive version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and is worth picking up at full retail if you skipped the game the first time around.

Dues Ex SUPPORT thread vs. Dues Ex DON'T SUPPORT thread. I wonder what the mods will think of this... It's up to whoever if they want this. I want it, honestly, since I never had it and this is the definitive version, but I already explained why I can't/won't(money).

scar you have a legit reasoning as mentioned in the other thread. You aren't going out of your way to boycott the game, you just have tighter finances.

The more I read about it the better it sounds. These devs has put a lot o wiiu features in to the game and a lot of miiverse stuff. There is a lot going on inside this one, and it more and more justifies the 50$ tag

I think the $50 is sort of justified due to two things:

1.) The GamePad controls really add to the game. Yes, PS3 does this too with Vita Crossplay as well as 360 with SmartGlass. But here's the thing: you have to buy the vita and/or a tablet separately. Those don't come standard with every PS3 or 360. The Gamepad is the main controller of the Wii U, so every Wii U comes with it. Therefore, you get that experience right out of the package with Wii U.

2.) ^Due to such, the PS3 and 360 versions are cheaper. Plus, a lot of people have already bought the game in it's previous form on PS3 or 360. So in such case, they can't charge the same price. It has to be less.

Getting this on steam for like one tenth the cost of the wii u version thanks to a promotion they are running there, can't wait.

if you want to buy it, buy it. If this version doesn't interest you, then don't. We've already got a thread for this game, so feel free to use that thread to discuss it. Thank you! :3
