Topic: Demand Final Fantasy XV on the Wii U

Not to be that guy but that quite Literally the point of the game. The reason why Abstergo decided to abduct Desmond in the first place was his family had pretty much founded the new Assissan's Order and it was passed from generation to generation. The only ancestor that was a bit of a stretch was Conner since he just happened to be trained by the order.

Though desmond's story arc is done now so the series will probably get a new Protag for V.

I understand, but it's pretty annoying anyway. What about the lady from Liberation? There's just too many AC games to even care, and like I said, the gameplay is pretty bland., IMO.

I think the story is somewhat interesting, but only the story, and even that has been skewed.

I just wanted to try and revive this thread before I leave (check the Goodbye/Vacation thread to see why). Since I won't be here, I will not be participating in the discussion, I am simply curious to see how this situation has evolved in the eyes of this community since we left off. When I officially come back, I will give my input, but until then, discuss (and argue) to your heart's content.

Honestly, I don't think you'll be getting much arguing. I've been absent for a bit myself but I think It would be relatively accurate to say that most of us here don't really care anymore. From what's been shown it seems like it'll just end up being kingdom hearts(which we aren't getting either, but that's a different matter entirely) for "big boys", and really doesn't look worthwhile (to me anyway). I think most Wii U jrpg fans are content with Xenoblade Chronicles X, which seems to be going in a better direction imo.

I have zero interest in XV. The Final Fantasy series has been going downhill ever since VII, and XIII was a complete waste of space. I'm much more interested in Xenoblade Chronicles or perhaps a spiritual successor to Bravely Default. And this is from someone who thinks Final Fantasy VI and Chrono Trigger are some of the greatest games of all time.

Didn't we answer the question of FFXV on Wii U in the first few pages?

Yeah, FF is pretty well dead to me too. SE will get my money in the form of Bravely Default and other retro/nostalgic themed goodies like Final Fantasy Explorers. I'm done with their big dumb AAA efforts.

Unless Chrono Break ever actually happens. I'd buy it.

Even if it somehow came to Wii U, I'd end up buying it on XB1 or PS4 ('cause I'll have one of those by the time the game comes out) because presentation matters in a game like this one.

Alright, so my thoughts: I've really cooled on my desire to play this game. Yeah, it looks kind of cool, but it's just not as interesting to me anymore. I would still buy it on launch day if it ever came to the Wii U, but I'll be fine without it.

Well, looks like I made this big thread for nothing, because now I have to get a PS4 (Last Guardian, Final Fantasy VII Remake, No Man's Sky, Final Fantasy XV, more...)

I have an Xbox One, too, but I still think it should be on Wii U. Even moreso for at least Kingdom Hearts III. I honestly don't even feel like those games are so graphically impressive, that they would be unable to make it to Wii U.

If the Gears of War beta was anything to go off of, Gears of War on Xbox One will basically be Gears 3 in 1080p with a few better polygons, textures, and slightly enhanced gameplay. It really isn't that much of a step up, all things considered, especially if they want to keep the same aesthetic, which they do.
That's already what Super Smash Bros. is for the series on Wii U, as Gears of War is for Xbox One, from what I've seen; just like the Last of Us remaster on PS4. Most of the graphics were already there.

It's better this way, because they haven't even been able to get it to run well on Xbox One yet, so a Wii U version would be in Project Cars territory. An NX version might be plausible though. Even more so for KH3, which probably won't be out until the NX is too.
