Topic: Deluxe Digital Promotion - Where's the Balance

Hi guys,

Forgive me if this has already been discussed or if I missed some major news...

I downloaded NSMBU digitally yesterday. From what I understand, as part of the Deluxe Digital Promotion (DDP), this qualifies me for 599 points, which will be $5 for now with 99 in waiting (ref: http://ddp.nintendo.com/).

However, where does this balance appear? It's not in my eShop balance. Perhaps I have to wait a few days. Or, perhaps I have to wait until Nintendo officially launches the DDP website.

Does anyone have experience with this?

Thanks all!

Happy Gaming,

Well, I think I found the answer on Nintendo's support site.

Here's the quote:
" Beginning in December 2012, sign in to the Deluxe Digital Promotion website with your Nintendo Network ID and password to check the points you've earned so far. For every 500 points, you will earn a code that can be redeemed for $5 in credit in the Nintendo eShop on the Wii U or Nintendo 3DS."

I'm sure everything dating back to launch will qualify (Nintendo's DDP website says this). Hopefully that happens smoothly. Perhaps I should have waited until December to jump into the world of digital retail titles...

Any further insights?

You know as much as anyone else does... site goes live in December. All purchases since launch qualify.
