Shame we'll never see a Miiverse for Dark Souls 2.
That is hilarious. It's also why I don't use Miiverse anymore. Some kid spent like fifteen minutes trying to convince me that the Super Smash Bros community was the best place to talk about trading Pokemon.
As for the audience discussion, considering how Nintendo lends itself to lower-difficulty games, and Nintendo fans lead towards Nintendo games, I can see where he's coming from.
Dark Souls is one of the exceptions, but the majority of 360/PS3 games are very easy, some are even virtually idiot proof. So at the top end I wouldn't say that Nintendo's games were any easier than games on 360/PS3 (i.e. something like Uncharted or Halo isn't more difficult than the hardest SM3DW level). Nintendo does have more family friendly games though that anyone can play.
I'd probably buy it on Wii U if I had the option, but instead I'll just get it for PS3 when it drops to $15 - $20.
Dark Souls II is y most anticipated game next year. It is only above Smash bros. because it is coming sooner though. Dark & Demon's Souls were both amazing games, and I cannot wait for Dark Souls II. I would never buy it on Wii U if I had the chance, even if it was cheaper. There would be almost no community for it, no signs on the floor, no one to help, or invade. The online/multiplayer aspects of the Souls games add a lot to the formula, and make it feel much more refined and connected. On Wii U there wouldn't be that. So it only makes sense not to put it on Wii U.
