Topic: Daily / Weekly timer?

Hi guys / girls,

I've been asked to setup a timer for a console which belongs to two children of a family member, for the life of me I couldn't see an option to restrict time spent in the parental controls section...

Now I'm going to assume this is a fault on my part. Surely such a basic feature wouldn't be overlooked by Nintendo?

Which console are you talking about exactly?

Was Mariobro4. No, I'm not taking off my backpack...it's important.

Surely such basic parenting would be the responsibility of the parents, not an electronic device.

I'm mostly certain you can't limit time used, only what the Wii U is used for. Such as blocking it from Miiverse, using the eshop, etc.

I don't think such a feature exists, but there are surge protectors that have timed outlets. I use one for my aquarium, to keep the lights on for four hours a day. Of course, a kid of average intelligence could override it.
