They're still improving Wii U though. Most likely, PS4 and Xbox One are completely ready to go. Nintendo released Wii U just to have something on the market.
Control wise, Wii U can do voice just like Kinect, motion control, and SmartGlass is basically already implemented.
The only thing Xbox One and PS4 will have is better graphics, but otherwise, Nintendo can do all the same stuff. They just haven't shown it or implemented it yet.
