Topic: Counting down to the Wii U launch! How are you making it through?

I can't wait for the Wii U to get here.
I want a front row seat to Nintendo's biggest flop of the year.

No hurry here... I have it pre-ordered and I'll be lucky enough to have enough money by Nov. 18th....

There isn't much hype. I know I'll be getting one though.

Still waiting on the online details, and not sure if I want it "live" or via a Nintendo Direct. I would prefer "live" so we can see how easy the video chat stuff will work (or not easy). There is way too much editing that happens with things that aren't live, to really know what to expect.

Megaman Xover and Cartoonland Safari will take about 1 minute of my life while waiting for the massive disappointing WiiU actually anything besides Derpamen will suffice until that day of reckoning is upon me

Playing video games'll help me through. It's what I did with the 3DS(although I'm not preordering the Wii U) Playing one at Best Buy on Wednesday should also help... or not.

Well I have been playing Pokemon White 2, and Guild Wars 2 whilst waiting.....

Meanwhile, I have my Wii with a lot of games to play. I'm playing Kirby's Adventure Wii/Return to Dreamland at the moment.

I'm not buying one until a year or two into the console's lifespan so I have no problem with waiting. My PS3 and 3DS have been keeping me entertained plenty and will still do so over the next two years or so, especially with more great looking 3DS coming in the next few months.

^^ Yup. Same here. Not getting one till around tax time here in the states or maybe even later. I just want to wait and see the games that are coming for it, how largely adopted the console becomes, and how well it does commercially before I commit to it.

I am really excited. I got my deluxe Wii U all paid off and getting it day 1. I got really bored with the PS3 and 360 so I'm going back to Nintendo. I already picked up Xenoblade, The Last Story, and Skyward Sword.

I'm thinking of getting a 3ds XL now and waiting until next year for the WiiU but I'm still undecided.

I've been playing Pikmin 2 over and over again, with SSBB (I play as Olimar, go figure) in-between sessions of said game. Pikmin 3 is all that is on my mind when it comes to waiting, which is why I've been playing 2 so much.

I am considering buying Kirby's Return to Dreamland if I can find a used copy for a lower price though. Perhaps I'll look on Amazon. But then again I'm saving for Wii U games, such as NSMBU and as already mentioned, Pikmin 3.

Yeah, smash bros is what I always play in between sessions of any game. :3
But as for how I am making it through, I am patiently awaiting more news on the U.

I don't know, the way it usually works for me is time goes fast, than slower and slower until eventually one minute feels like a day.
