The GamePad could actually see a few improvements, among which is having its own processing power. Nintendo having recently bought moboclip, a start-up working on the cloud, here what I just feel they'll do. They'll release a retail GamePad — when two-GamePad games will start rolling — that can play games on its own from its owner's Wii U anywhere in the world, as long as they have the Internet. All your Wii U content, straming to your truly wireless GamePad: your Wii U itself will become the cloud.

Furthermore, GamePad processing power would give even more power to the Wii U, giving Miyamoto the ability to produce his 4K Pikmin right at the very end of his carrier. Calling it now: the GamePad Plus.

That makes sense, in that Nintendo would keep pushing the Wii U as the one and only console. I still feel this console might last 10 or so years because Nintendo just might implement something like this.

I don't think so. Nintendo has introduced a new type of controller with each new console, and I think that they will keep doing that. Sony finally changed their controller pretty drastically for the first time in a long time, so even their controllers aren't staying the same forever.

Even if that happened, to be completely honest I still don't think the Wii U would have enough power to last ten years.

I definitely think it will.

If it did, it'd be like the Wii, only getting first party games and a severely watered-down port every once in a while. and expanding on the whole gamepad plus thing: a gamepad costs 150 dollars by itself. a gamepad with it's own processor could cost twice that amount, as from the way it's been described it would pretty much be a standalone tablet.

We shall see. I'm saying 200 a GamePad Plus — then the only one sold on the market anyway — 200 a Wii U with a normal GamePad, 300 the Wii U with the GamePad Plus: in five years when the Wii U will have its natural middle-of-life price drop and its drop in costs of production.

You're guess is as good as mine, but the idea is mine. Allow me to envision its destiny as I see fit.

Depends if they keep the same technology maybe.. but I think as time goes on the tech to make these and update them to what people would expect out of them.. will go up.. so I seriously doubt it.. I think the Wii Mote.. and Pro Gamepad will be Nintendo's Dual Shock... I think after Wii U.. the Gamepad will go from being the primary controller coming with your system to being an optional controller.. of course I could be wrong.. after all once you give people off TV play.. and touch screen tech.. it could become the new norm of what people expect out of Nintendo... I think in the end though.. the Gamepad is a double edged sword.. that both helps Nintendo and Hurts them in the long run..

Please use proper punctuation in your posts, this is difficult to read.

No.. the fact that I am.. not as smart as you.. and kept it simple.. and that your so smart you can't read it.. when everyone else could.. dictates something else entirely.. I don't think it's my punctuation that is the problem..

I would rather get rid of the Wiimotes and stick with gamepad and pro controller.

As would I. To be honest, I'd be fine with motion controls dying entirely.

then how would we be able to play pikmin properly.

You realize this would be ridiculously priced and will flop?

Not only that, but it would pretty much make it a required accessory if it added processing power, as otherwise there'd be games you couldn't play without it.

You do realize that you'd still have to use the gamecube controller right?

It would mainly allow Wii U games to run in 4K and games to run in the GamePad's resolution on the Plus alone anywhere, as well as allow two-GamePad support to not put strains on the Wii U. In this line of thought, I believe the Wii U's own processing power is sufficient for years to come.

I mentioned prices earlier, make sure you read them before talking about pricing, especially since it is at the core of my reasoning. This is a work in progress, so I would really appreciate if you could word your arguments thoughfully.
