I know about Shovel Knight, 90's Arcade Racer and Mighty No. 9 all coming to Wii U eventually. And I'm essentially about to get on my knees and beg for A Hat in Time to come to Wii U. I was wondering if there are any other Indie games I should look for coming to Wii U in the future (I already know about the current ones) or if there is any certain indie games that you guys want to come to the Wii U. (For some reason I feel like the only answer I'll get is Minecraft xD which is okay)

I always wanted the Scott Pilgrim game but it didn't get a PC/Steam release and I didn't have a xbox or ps. Otherwise Contrast, Tokyo Jungle and Guacamelee look cool.

If you want a seizure, this game is the best way to go. I guess on WiiU it would be a better game, because on PC the controls are cringeworthy.

Legend of Grimrock would be awesome on WiiU - you could write your own notes on map with ease.
Also Binding of Isaac looks like a good idea, but as we know, it was rejected by Nintendo, and the reason was not violence.

I can't imagine them coming to Wii U but my favourite indie games are Braid, Limbo, Bastion, Spelunky, Mark of the Ninja, Hotline Miami, Fez, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Rogue Legacy and Papers Please. 2013 was so good for indie games, and 2014 will probably be even better as we start to see more crowd funded games emerge.

Guacamelee is perfect for any Nintendo console, almost suprised how few platforms it's on.

A Hat in Time (if it DOES get confirmed for Wii U, which the developers teased at) and Soul Saga are my most anticipated eShop games. I have my eye on Shovel Knight as well...

I would be lying to myself if I didn't admit No Man's Sky using the Gamepad for ship controls/command, radar, scanning, environment/resource analysis, etc. would be incredibly promising.

Who knows how the game will shape up (sympathies to Hello Games after the flood damage). And it's very possibly too CPU intensive to run optimally (or even nominally) on Wii U hardware. However, I can't think of a prominent indie title that would be a better fit for the system. Functionally, the possibilities are obvious and compelling. (I'm definitely blinded by my own desire, but the Wii U CANNOT be considered a success if it never receives a proper, lauded Sci-Fi planet exploration/spaceship simulator.).

Additionally, it's hard to predict the market potential for such a project, but is there any doubt that this is the kind of experience that the Wii U needs? It always troubles me when companies ignore the Nintendo market with projects like this (Why? Because the CoDs, ACs, etc dont sell?). Despite perceptions, there is untapped potential for complex, mature experiences that respect the player (and avoid a primary theme of violence).

Though, I suppose not even NOA has faith in us considering their intent with regards to Xenoblade's release... (For what it's worth, what was the last significant third party release on a Nintendo console that fit this category? Deus Ex does, but it's an extremely late port. ZombiU does and, though brutal, was reasonably successful considering the unfortunate branding and ridiculously negative critical reception. Would Silent Hill: Shattered Memories be the next, most recent example?)

Huh?

Four more months until Bayonetta 2.
