Topic: Console buying.

I am coming in to some money hopefully the next couple of months and I am in a difficult position. I can either get a PS4 or a WIIU (already own an XBOX ONE). Now I know the NX is coming eventually not sure when but I imagine next year now is it worth spending 250.00 on a WII U or waiting for the NX and get a PS4?

Any help or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Is any game coming out in the next few months that you really want the system for? If not, Zelda is still a ways off (as are Playstation's biggest exclusives: Persona, Horizon, God of War), so I don't think there's a need to go all in on systems at this particular moment.

Well I was going to buy a PS4 for uncharted the last of us and there is some great games coming. To be honest if the NX was a couple of years away i wouldn't hesitate. I just don't want to buy a wiiu and a new system comes out in 7 months.

@solidsneek Depends on what you're looking for. Compare the exclusive games and find out what you want to play most; get that system. However, you should take into account that the PS4 will be supported for a few more years, whilst the Wii U won't really get any new games anymore; Zelda is coming to NX as well and the only other game left that's coming to Wii U is Paper Mario.

I assume you don't own a PS3 if you're looking to play Last of Us? Then there are some neat PS3 (and Vita) remasters available for the PS4 as well.

I would add that you might want to hold off on getting a PS4 right now. With the PS4 Neo on the horizon you might want to wait for that.
