Like many people, I got the Wii U on Sunday. However, unlike many people, it turns out that all of the HDMI ports on my TV were taken up by my brother's 360, the BluRay player, and our DVR box. As of right now, I'm using the Wii's Composite Cable to play it and...I'm disappointed. I know the game matters more than the graphics, but the picture is really blurry and I really only use the GamePad because of it.

My question is, does anyone know where I can get a Wii Component Cable for cheap? I looked online and the cheapest I've found so far is $15 for one at Walmart.

Thanks in advance!

You need to kick that 360 to the curb mate... It has no right to be taking up that HDMI port ;) the 360 doesn't even use it properly to begin with anyway.

The WiiU uses it better than the 360, kick it out.

I'd definitely go the HDMI switcher route like MK says. It more money but worth the extra ports.

Best place Monoprice.com. Buy the componet cable cheap there. I had your exact same problem. Satellite, PS3, were using both HDMI's. My solution was to use a monoprice.com hdmi switcher. Now I run Wii U, PS3, and Satellite, all into the hdmi switcher and a fourth hdmi cable out from the hdmi switcher to the tv :-) It also comes with a wireless remote to do the switching :-)

You can just manually switch the cables when you need to unless the ports are hard to reach on your tv.

Thanks for the switchbox ideas! I'm going to research those and pick one up!

As for everyone telling me to kick out the 360, I can't for 2 reasons.
1. I'm a nice guy and I don't want to unplug my brother's 360 from the HDMI port. I can always play on the GamePad if worst comes to worst. He can't play games on his controller with awesome quality :P
2. My dad would tell me that I was wearing out the HDMI port and connector. I was looking for a more...permanent solution.

I researched HDMI Splitters and thosethings were steep... So I looked back at Component Cables. Found one at GameStop for about $7. Plugged it in and...black and white image... Tried everything, but still...black and white. Then, I actually went to the Wii U menu and set the Wii U to display in 1080i (the highest my TV supports) and...no more black and white! Now I've entered the HD era of gaming. :)
