Topic: CoD Ghosts? Anyone got it

I got an awesome deal the other day at Toys R Us. I got Call of Duty Ghosts for 25 bux ,and Tekken for 8 bux. Anyone got the game i'd like to play it with some others. my NNID is maximo_jd just add me ,and send me a message.

Nah, I have Black Ops II and the next CoD I'll get is Black Ops III. If that never happens, maybe I'll invest in the one after Advanced Warfare.

While I've got Advanced Warfare on the mind, why isn't it Black Ops III? Wasn't Black Ops II's present (future) bits comprised of "advanced" warfare?

I have it, but have not played it in a bit. I am "SphericalCrusher" on WiiU and would love to play it with some people soon. MH3U has me hooked again though!

Agreed, I never understood the appeal of military shooters, don't we have enough of that crap in the real world without it being construed as "entertainment" as well? Military shooters never show the reality of war either, it's complete glorification without any of the charred bodies littering demolished ruins where things like schools and hospitals used to be, droves of displaced families, lines of coffins lined up to be shipped back home, or even post service depression as returning veterans realize how many innocent people no longer exist either directly or indirectly of their actions, I would have a lot more respect for military shooters if they included that sort of stuff in the game, but I guess that wouldn't sell the idea of war to a new generation very well, better to make it about whoever gets the highest body count wins, memorizing statistics for various military grade weapons, and getting hyped up over emerging technologies which will make killing people ever more efficient.

And for the record I do enjoy first person shooters, especially ones like Doom and Unreal Tournament where the emphasis is on over the top gameplay in scifi/fantasy settings, I just detest military shooters, for the reasons stated above.

I only get into CoD games for the multiplayer as it's the only FPS online (console wise) that has a consistent amount of people playing. As far as the single player it's so plain and vanilla. I hate how most keep flip flop characters in middle of story of who you are playing as. The only CoD i really got into was Black Ops 1 ,and that was because it reminded me of BLACK from Ps2/Xbox the way it told its story. I have Black OPs 2 as well ,but it took Black Ops 1 story arch ,and made it wayyy to complicated for me to follow.

Ya. I'm not buying CoD ever again. I was actually trying to get rid of them at $20 a piece. The campaign mode in Ghosts is a f***ing joke.
