I really like the game because it takes a simple idea, makes it more broad, and adds variety to it. Heck, and any game that makes full use of the Gamepad is awesome in my book.
However, most of the audio in the game will consist of
The Japanese Nintendo page has some info, it seems. Unfortunatelly, I don't know any Japanese, but I saw the translations of Captain Toad's abilities for the game: throw, ride, dig, climb, tumble
Not enough can be said for Nintendo games in HD. They're so beautiful that they instantly make me smile & just feel happy. Its good stuff. I've had The Last of Us & Assassin's Creed III gathering dust for what feels like forever now. Nintendo games are the reason why. No other company can make games that fill me with joy...other than Insomniac with Ratchet & Clank, but that's another story. Lol
With that said, CT:TT's visuals are constantly surprising me & continuously reinforcing my WiiU purchase. I'm no graphics whore, but when just looking at a game can make me immediately happy, the only word that can describe that is magic.

@Octane Not what I meant. Road can't jump because of his heavy equipment, so it makes sense. I'm just saying that limiting his movement limits what you can do with him. While it's not impossible to make a full retail-sized game of of this concept, it is extremely difficult to make it that long and keep it varied enough, given the size of the levels. Restricting movement also restricts the developer's options in level design, so we'll just have to wait and see what the team rolls out. Then well be able to determine whether it's worth the price. (Not that I wouldn't get this, anyways.)

Okay, even though I still like to call this "Captain Toad's Stupid Adventure" (remember, I'm the funniest & cleverest writer who ever lived), I'm actually kinda excited for this one. XD

I see. We've seen Toad going in a first person shooter level, that was completely different from the other levels. I think the game relies more on creative thinking, GamePad control, and different style of gameplay to keep some levels unique. I have no doubt that they'll find ways to keep every level fresh and unique.

I'm aware. In fact, I've been saying that for a while. I agree the team CAN make something out of this that's worth $60, the question is if they will and only the final product will tell for sure. Until then, I can sit here hoping for a $40 title because I'd like to have SOME money left for Christmas shoping.
All this talk about the price...I'm just thankful its getting a physical release honestly. Lol I do agree though. If it isn't a "full" game, it needs to be $30-$40. I'd prefer $30. I'm most comfortable paying $30 or less on a game. I'm a bargain hunter.

Well, about the price.. Even though I do think that they can turn it into a $60 game, I think it'll be cheaper. I don't think it will be a ''huge'' game either. Like the first Pikmin, something you could finish within a day. Besides, I haven't seen a lot of $30/$40 games for the Wii U, some smaller games would be welcomed.
But..but...tumbling....is....not..a..skill. It's like saying that one of your skills is going to the bathroom. You.....can't....do...that. In all seriousness though, All of those abilities that have been shown off reminds me of toki-tori or something like that. It gives off that charm. Heh, cant wait for the guys at Nintendo to show off dat price.
Was Mariobro4. No, I'm not taking off my backpack...it's important.

"Tumbling" in the acrobatic sense IS a skill! Let's wait and see how it's put into practice;-)
@dumedum That figure is a must-buy for me - Captain Toad in Smash Bros as a playable character would be great!
That figure looked shopped. Its real? O.o
Captain Toad would be a better playable character than regular Toad for sure. But how could they explain him jumping in Smash & not his own game? Springy shoes? Lol
