The exact same flowers Pikmin have (Chaenostoma cordatum), very thin flower base, and gradually widening towards the roots. They look like sprouted Pikmin. It are the little details like this that make Nintendo games so unique.
@DefHalan@Morpheel Nintendo bred (and owns) their own species of flower, called Bacoba Cabana. It's a species of Sutera cordata (Chaenostoma cordatum). The flower is based on the flowered Pikmin, and was bred and sold to promote the original Pikmin game. Thus, Nintendo using a Sutera cordata in this game, isn't just a mere coincidence.

They still just look like flowers
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

But it is strange considering Sutera cordata is a cultivar. It's probably just a Chaenostoma cordatum

Few hours ago I was really looking forward to Captain Toad + Toadette after watching he Japanese trailer. After watching the English version, I spontaneously lost my interest with the game. Was I expecting Dora the Explorer to narrate the English trailer?
It's not like he's narrating the entire game (thank goodness)
Yeah... thank .......goodness...(shoot...there's goes my chance of people liking the narrator idea.)
"And here you see the Toad in its natural habitat..."
Is it just me or does this game actually look better than SM3DW?
I'm not sure if the textures themselves are different, but the free camera in Capt. Toad allows you to zoom in and appreciate the small details even more.
