Just curious as to what everyone thought of the Captain Toad levels in Super Mario 3D World. I personally enjoyed them a lot. I wish there had been more of them. Do you think we will see more of him in the future? I for one wouldn't be opposed to him getting his own game on the eShop. Thoughts?

They provided a nice change in pace from the main game but were a bit on the easy side, I myself would like additional levels as DLC or as a standalone e-shop game if the format is expanded.

Someone else opened an entire thread about him hating Miiverse because someone wanted a Captain Toad game. Interesting...
Yes, it works very well as a puzzle game. I was pretty happy that I managed to do all these levels. They were not too difficult which was nice. Maybe a little too easy indeed, but the structure doesn't lend itself to difficulty... unlike Minis on the Move or something where you can keep adding obstacles and things - they could have expanded it to make it harder.

They could also include levels like the Mystery Houses with fast paced levels. I really enjoyed those as well. Reminded me of NES Remix.

They could have made the levels more challenging IMO. But other than that I enjoyed them.

Looking forward to: No More Heroes: Travis Strikes Again

For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday.

Captain Toad is awesome I love how he's become a more and more established character in the Mario franchise since his adventures through space back in Galaxy. I certainly hope we see more of Captain Toad in the future!

I echo all your statements, I loved them too, but yeah too easy. I especially liked the level that spun 360 degrees. I would definitely like to see more as dlc, but I do wonder how you could make them more difficult.

I guess more event types.
Time limits on getting certain stars.
Having to collect the stars in a certain order?

My favorite Toad moments are from Luigi Mansion Dark Moon.

They were alright, but nothing spectacular. They did prove one thing: white toads can't jump

I think a stage creator for this would be cool.

Been marathon watching Super Mario Bros 3 Cartoons with my son, we love Toads voice in that one!
Also in the one about Wrestling we get a glimpse of Toad without his hat!

Has Captain Toad seen Jenny yet? He needs to start out slow and work his way into jumping.
