There will be no Mega Man games for Wii U

ShiftyLook - Bringing back Namco classics, Step 1- Webcomics.
I help keep these threads updated: New 3DS VC games in Japan, Missing 3DS VC and Wii U VC between regions, and Full of list first party Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Gear games missing from the 3DS VC.

Meh, Capcom have gone downhill for quite some time for me. They need to step up and make some new interesting games and not just cancel stuff or make another version of Street Fighter...

And including Suda 51? What does that mean? Is he part o Capcom now or something?

Looking forward to: Mario & Luigi: Dream Team

Suda 51 isn't a part of Capcom and its nintendo, not nintindo, not thats the only typo in there. It is annoying the way Capcom have been acting with the way they refuse to bring Ace attorney investigations 2 outside of Japan and cancelling MML3 but its not just nintendo platforms as people are annoyed with the direction that they are taking with Resident evil: operation raccoon city and the next Devil may cry. At least theres still Resident evil: revelations coming out next year.

I agree with you that they are being stupid but of least they are putting decent games on the system they were even talking about 2 more games maybe coming. Yea they should make Mega man legends 3 or at least show us the demo but of least they are bringing games to the system. Most 3rd party developers are either a) delaying their games or b) not trying to make a good game for the system.

Seriously, I bet MegaMan Legends 3 would have sold a paltry 50,000 at most. Investigations 2 would have done way worse than that. You can't blame a business for not making stupid decisions that could cost them money.

On topic, I haven't seen anything that would indicate Nintendo wanting to cut ties with Capcom or vice versa.

I'm just still blown away that we haven't seen a new Power Stone or Viewtiful Joe....Capcom just likes to play it safe with Street Fighter, Resident Evil and of course Mega Man. But hey, I'm fine with RE and MM games being furiously pumped out. :P

All we can do is wait and see. As far as Capcom is going they are turning into the Walmart of the video game industry. They are only caring about money rather than quality or their fans. The latest stunt with SSFIV 3DS is proof of that. Truthfully the only thing I am interested from Capcom now is Street Fighter X Tekken and any new Phoenix Wright games.

yes, they both would have done poorly if 0 effort was put into marketing or advertising. Very good, now go be a corporate apologist somewhere else.

Yes, I am sure pumping a ton more money behind an incredibly niche dective game on obsolete system and even more money behind the unpopular black sheep of the megaman franchise, on a floundering system no less, would make them insanely lucrative. Go pretend like you could run a game company somewhere else.

50,000? Uhm, I think it'd be at least 500,000 :P (did you see the Facebook page? Plus, Japanese fans of this game?)

It'd be more than that number. Way more.

With the direction they're going I'm surprised their fighting genre is still popular. How many versions of the same game are we gonna see in two years? :O

MML3 was cancelled!!!11! Oh no Capcom hates Nintendo and should change their name to CRAPcom. Why? Because they're relying too much on their most high profiled franchises that sell by the millions and not giving ME what I want! Oh and don't let me forget about the new Devil May Cry which is going to suck even though I haven't played it nor is it released... yeah!
