Apparantly Capcom is open to being bought out. Time for Nintendo to make a move. Seriously, they would be foolish not to. They're the perfect fit for capcom. I think that they would do many of their franchises justice. Megaman would definitely make a comeback. We got the best resident evil games when they were gamecube exclusive. Capcom made the best 2D zelda games. Plus Nintendo has stated that they are looking torwards mergers and acquisitions. Plus out of the big 3, nintendo needs capcom the most. Since they aren't getting 3rd party support. Games developed by platinum games like okami, viewtiful joe, devil may cry, godhand, would also be revived. I mean since platinum has such a close relationship with nintendo. They need to make a move as soon as possible.

I think there is a law in Japan that a Japanese company can't be bought by company not from Japan so Microsoft are out & Sony I'm not sure have the spare cash as their non-games divisions are struggling so there's no rush needed from Ninty if they are intrested.

Yes! I'm so glad that microsoft, EA, Activision, can't be considered for this. It would be a disaster.

Hmm. I don't know. They just bought atlus. And capcom would be more expensive.

Would be a shame to make all their franchises exclusive to one platform.. If they go the way of Atlus I hope they are not bought by Sony or Nintendo.

In fairness most game companies franchises are exclusive to non-Nintendo platforms. Personally I think Ninty should look into expanding their portfolio of European & American developers more than anything else.

True, but they're not forced to be. If a 3rd party company wanted their game on WiiU it would be there.

Want and viable are two different things but yeah, also keep in mind Capcom are in their current situation as they way isn't working as their franchises haven't been preforming as well as they are excepted to.

But see here's the thing. Nintendo has virtually no third party support. Sony has it all. If nintendo got capcom, it wouldn't hurt sony much at all. Since they still would still have games from EA, activision, square-enix, konami, insomniac, ubisoft, etc.

Just don't let Konami get it, they'll bury it in the same box they put Hudson in.
