Kawaiipikachu and zanrai, unfortunately you are also out of luck for now.
Who knows, maybe a future update by Nintendo will take care of it...

Maybe a future update includes a learning function so that any remote codes that's not included can be learned via aiming the remote at the IR port.

Strat, if your Bauhn remote has a "UPlayer" key on it, i'm afraid you're out of luck for now. If not, please post a picture of it. Thank you.

I also have a Bauhn TV (Model: AC-32FZ). The remote has an identified "GL21A-C2" and does not have a 'UPlayer' key on it. The IC the remote uses is labelled HJ6122-001. A picture of the remote is here

Any ideas on a compatible setting for the remote?
Thanks,
Al

Hi Allenb, also no nice answer for you
There's no code in the Nintendo for this...

A request for the members posting Sanyo-related questions - would you please post which country you bought the TV from/in.

I read that there's 28 codes for the Sanyo sets, and where none of the codes have had provided any success, most (if not all) of these seem to have been from Aussie Sanyo TV owners, so I just wanted to confirm if this was the case.

Cheers,

Schprockie

Hmmm... just wondering if maybe it is just the Aussie Sanyo sets and the Chinese-sourced "rebadges" sold in Oz (and probably NZ and territories) which are under the radar in terms of the remotes.

Regarding the learning function, my limited experience with the 'smart' universal remotes is that a working original was required and the universal had a 'read' facility. (Remotes typically only have IR transmit).
If the Gamepad has an IR transmit/receive facility like the DS did, it should be able to work as you suggested; I just can't remember reading that the Gamepad's IR is two-way..

There's a chance as there are a few brands here that uses Rebadging & out-sourcing older parts ect.
Brands includes DSE (Dick Smiths home brand) Soniq & Palsonic (not to be confused with Panasonic)

The gamepads IR port is an actual 2 way serial IR port just like the 3DS cellphones & pocket computers & PDS.
In fact me & my father had Experimented in the past with learning remote apps on our PDA's meaning that feature should easily be implemented with the Wii U control pad just obviously needs the orignal remote to learn from.

I'm in the UK, I've got a 22" Alba - I wish I could be more specific at the moment, I'll dig out the manual a bit later so I can provide more details - and I'm having no luck with the TV Remote function at all.

At the moment, I've just got it tied to the TV in the living room so I can turn the volume down from upstairs if my dad's fallen asleep with it on really loud. Didn't think it'd work, but it seems miracles do happen.

Hey guys. I have a soniq Model l42v11a and am trying to connect my wiiU controller.. The Soniq option doesnt seem to work.

Is there any other options that might be compatible?

EDIT: If it helps, the model number of my Tv remote that works is QT112. A quick Google says this tv remote works with Soniq model QSP550T

Hi Jakus, I think the "Bexa" code will work for your Soniq.

Hi, Sleeve.
Maybe you can help me. I have a Philips 221T (this one: http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/cpindex.pl?ctn=221T1SB/00&... as you see it's a monitor with tv tuner and, I don't know if this might be relevant, I bought it in Spain -but I guess all the modesl in Europe are the same) and I just can't make it work. Philips has a lots of settings in the Wii U, but it looks like none will work with it, so I will appreciate any help.
Thank you very much!

Wow, it works. Thank you very much! I tried to make it work since the launch and after every update and I gave up, really. Then, a few weeks ago I tried it again and -of course- it didn't work. Just a few days ago I found this message in Google because I wanted a final try (I read Nintendo LIfe regularly, but just the website) and I thought "well, I can only lose a few minutes of my life and his by asking" and turns out you have the answer! Well, I don't know how you find this info (I tried really hard, really), but thank you, thank you very much.

Sleeve, you seem like a real wizard. I have a Soniq E23Z11A purchased in New Zealand. My TV remote is also Soniq branded, model QT 144. I've tried your previous suggestions for Soniq TVs, but none have borne fruit. Do you have any ideas?

Thank you very much in advance!

Hi Creature, unfortunately I was unable to find anything useful on that TV.
What may help though, is a picture of the Soniq QT144 Remote.
If you have that for me, I'll look into it again.

Hi i just bought a new SONIQ E32W13A-AU, I've tried the SONIQ setting but it does nothing and I've tried all the above suggestions: still nothing!
The remote has SONIQ QT1D on it, and I'm in Australia.
