Topic: Can't connect to internet after last update

Hi,

Have serious problem conneting to internet after last update, if i connect via Iphone it works but not via router (Imac and Ipads work via Router)

Anyone else have this problem?

No I haven't. Sorry that you are. Make sure your IP address and DNS are still set to obtain automatically and give your router a power cycle.

That sounds like what happened to mine after the April update. When I contacted Nintendo's tech support, they told me it wasn't a widespread issue, but even after 45 minutes with them, we weren't able to fully resolve the issue. They theorized that there might have been something in the update that my router's firewall didn't like and recommended setting up a DMZ for the Wii U but I couldn't do that because of my ISP. After some trial and error, we came up with a configuration that at least made the system usable online by configuring it's IP address and DNS manually. I'll try to post the DNS they had me use later today when I'm back in front of my console.

It wasn't perfect, as I would still frequently get connection error messages, but I could usually immediately retry and get it to work. Once it managed to get connected it seemed to be fine. Interestingly, the last update seems to have finally resolved the issues I was still having.
