Topic: Can't Connect After 3DS Miiverse Update

Posts 1 to 10 of 10

OK so 1st off I noticed there's already a similar topic in the 3DS eShop forum, however it doesn't seem to make a difference. Neither 3DS or Wii U eShop will connect for me after the Miiverse update and linking my Nintendo ID from Wii U. Anyone else having this problem or know what's going on? Leave a reply back. Thanks!

They're probably easing the servers. I seriously doubt it has to do with an actual problem. They just added 34 million potential users to a more connected network, so I'm not sure what people were expecting from such an update.

It will be handled, ASAP. I can assure you that.

Seriously, people need to calm down and just wait for it to come back. It's not the end of the world, this happens every time a major update drops.

Looks like MicroSony has taken out the epicenter of the WiiU & 3DS ecosystem... Now we can't download ALTTP and those awesome MD 3D classics this weekend.

It's a conspiracy

Why is the DS having problems? It is linked somehow to the update?

"Due to a high amount of online traffic, network services may be intermittently unavailable. We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience."

The influx of new NNID users seems to have been too much for the servers. I'd just wait for it to cool down.

Yeah, click on "details" and it will tell you why. It's simply a sudden high volume of traffic. Just try again later today or tomorrow

I can't even play Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate online or watch Hulu or Netflix which is a big deal since I don't have cable or satellite tv.

Would this explain why when I took my Wii U out of the box yesterday and tried to connect to my Wifi at home it wouldn't connect?
