OK so 1st off I noticed there's already a similar topic in the 3DS eShop forum, however it doesn't seem to make a difference. Neither 3DS or Wii U eShop will connect for me after the Miiverse update and linking my Nintendo ID from Wii U. Anyone else having this problem or know what's going on? Leave a reply back. Thanks!

They're probably easing the servers. I seriously doubt it has to do with an actual problem. They just added 34 million potential users to a more connected network, so I'm not sure what people were expecting from such an update.
It will be handled, ASAP. I can assure you that.

Looks like MicroSony has taken out the epicenter of the WiiU & 3DS ecosystem... Now we can't download ALTTP and those awesome MD 3D classics this weekend.

The influx of new NNID users seems to have been too much for the servers. I'd just wait for it to cool down.
