So. I've been thinking about the WiiU a lot. And, I know all of the games coming. However, I want to see what you guys think could be coming, or if you have heard any rumors. Also, let me know if I leave any games off the list. All dates are for the US, and I don't include third party games. This is solely about Nintendo's production (either in house, or published), but if you want to mention games, I don't mind. I just don't care to do so, for this thread.
Hyrule Warriors - 9-26-14
Bayonetta 1 & 2 - October-2014
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker - 2014
Super Smash Bros. - 2014
Devil's Third - 2014
Kirby And The Rainbow Curse - 2015
Mario Maker - 2015
Splatoon - 2015
Xenoblade Chronicles X - 2015
Yoshi's Wooly World - 2015
Zelda - 2015
Fire Emblem X Shin Megami Tensei - 2015
Star Fox - 2015
Mario Party 10 - 2015
Mario vs. Donkey Kong - 2015
Project Guard - 2015
Project Giant Robot - 2015
2015 is loaded. More than likely some of those will slip. However, we also know that there are 2 more games coming, like Devil's Third, that are funded in part by Nintendo. Most likely they are Japanese-centric (which is fine by me), or from Japaenese developers (too bad Platinum is working on Scalebound). I've heard Ni-oh, and something else. What have you heard?!
Talking about rumors, I hope that Pokken is true. A fighting game to complement Smash Bros. would be great.
And I don't regret Kamiya working on Scalebound. I am saving to get an Xbone! But I am still wondering what are they doing to avoid bleeding money. His games are not system sellers and I can't see Microsoft taking a loss on this.
I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.
"2015 is loaded." Loaded is a big word, for the likes of about 6 mayor WiiU games, you got listed for that whole year.
That aside, weren't there rumors about new Metroid games? I think there is supposedly a new 3D one in the works, too. A 3D Metroid would suggest a homeconsole title, instead of a portable one I'd say.
But I am still wondering what are they doing to avoid bleeding money. His games are not system sellers and I can't see Microsoft taking a loss on this.
Well, not being system sellers, doesn't automatically equal losses. One thing is true though, their games don't sell that well, I guess, that is the reason why lately their games are all exclusives. In one way or the other, Microsoft as well as Nintendo are paying for that privilege.
I don't mind it either, since I already got an Xbone anyways.

Eh, Pokken was the center of so many rumors that eventually got debunked. I'm not really sure what to expect from it

I believe Pokken is a game- but there's no guarantee it's what any of us think it is. Is it really a 1 on 1 beat-em up? It's a crowded market that may ont entirely have a customer base on the Wii U. If it is, it won't compete with Smash while that continues to sell, and has to fit around 3 or 4 Tekken games floating in the ether, so it may be sometime before we see it.
As for what's coming, we've heard several Nintendo developers say there have been in house discussions on what the next Mario and Metroid games will be, so we will get them on the system- it's just a matter of how far in the future.
EDIT: Also Mario vs Donkey Kong (Mini) has been listed as a retail title for 2015.
If Pokken is a fighting game, and a good one at that, it will be successful with the customer base because it is Pokémon themed. Smash Bros. will probably be an evergreen title so it will continue to sell for years.

My release list for all those games (plus some that I think will be revealed) would look like this:

New 3D Mario - 2016
Those are my guesses
I'd like to see Wario Universe. Starts out like Mario Galaxy, but Peach is mind controlled by aliens, and kidnaps Mario (weird, huh). Bowser comes to the rescue, but is just in the game as a boss. The real hero is Wario, who is only saving Mario, and Peach, because he finds out that Luigi was turned into a gold statue (by the said aliens), and the Toads offer a Zillion coins as a reward to save the day.
@Dreamsleep I'd kill for a Bowser game, sorta like the first few sentences you said about a Wario game. You need to defeat Peach, and you go about levels like you did in Paper Mario: TTYD, in Super Bowser Bros, where you literally destroyed everything in your path. I need a game like that in my life.
